Remus saw the other moving ahead. "Wait for me!" he demaneded, eventually watching pace with Featherheart.

Badger processed what Kassandra had to say and let out a soft sigh. His tail flicked some as he evened out his pacing, he felt as if he had started to move faster as he thought. "I felt I needed to get away from the other keplies, I already picked a fight with one and there was no way I was going to let myself get in another one of those again unless for a good purpose." he said, letting out a snort before lifting his head to look at the sky above. As he brought his head back down to normal level, he shook it, hopefully getting his mind straight.
His emerald green eyes started to dull some, feeling a bit uncomfortable around all the kelpies he has been seeing around the bayou for the shortest time he had been there. The outskirts were more where he wished to be at the time, clearing his mind of anything that could throw him out of balance.

"We're all just stories in the end."

Kassandra nodded a bit, her mind wandering as she received this information. "Ah, well, we all end up in situations we don't like. I'm not sure if totally cutting yourself off from others is the solution though," she said quietly, her eyes only betraying kindness and concern. She sometimes made sudden and unexpected connections like this, she supposed it was all the stories. Most heros didn't become heros on their own, they needed someone to believe in them and urge them on when they hit troubles. Kass liked to try and help keplies along, picturing herself as the helpful friend, however, she had never cast herself as one of the main characters in a tale before. She just felt her story was far from finished.
Her nostrils suddenly flared, intaking a bunch of kelpie scents. Among the lot were Desiderius, Viatrix, and Crius, along with four other kelpies that she didn't know. She tossed a look to Badger and broke into a faster gait, cutting a straight path towards her family.

Unsure of what she was doing, Badger simply let his eyes follow Kassandra for a bit before he began to slowly trot after her. He began to process what she had said to him, She's right, I shouldn't isolate myself for so long. I should start to roam around once again and hopefully get to know other kelpies. His head shook some before he realized that he was still following Kassandra. He couldn scent a few other kelpies that were around; the scents must have been from the ones she had asked about earlier.
He gave a soft snort as his trot began to slow some, not keeping his pace with hers. In case he felt he didn't belong at the time he would simply leave as she reuinted with her loved ones. He was soon at a walk, tossing his forelock out of his face to get a better view of where they were at the moment.

He caught a familiar scent on the air and his first reaction was surprise. He took off away from everyone and towards the scent without a word before he spotted two figures, or of which he recognized instantly. The colt bucked almost in excitement as he slowed his pace when he knew they could hear him. "Mom?" He said a little in disbelief. Crius stopped completely and looked at her before turning to Badgera d then returning his expectant gaze to his mother.

Looking between Featherheart and Remus Fenrir nickered a curious "Where are we going?" knowing he would most likely go unanswered, he walked at a brisk short pace behind Prince, looking in vain for what he was moving towards. He frowned unsure.

The mare looked at Fenrir and shrugged. "I guess," she added, verbally, "that we're about to find out." She continued to follow Prince.

She looked up as Crius crashed away and heard him faintly yell something that sounded like mom. Mom? She thought. No way! Excitement for seeing her mother again built up and she raced off after Crius. Stumbling into him when she saw he stopped and was staring at two other Kelpies, she realized it was in fact her mom!

He lifted his head suddenly and perked his ears where his children had vanished. "Kids!" He yelled afraid they had taken off after some unknown equid. He sniffed the air and scented Kassandra near and another stallion. He looked at Soul before charging after his kids, just in case.

Bear perked his ears at her giggle. He wasn't quite used to the sound of it, or any mare's sound actually; considering he spends much of his time alone. Hearing her question Bear opens his muzzle to reply, ''[i]Actually no.. I just wander the bayou alone..'' he stammered glancing up at her. It was obvious he was very shy towards such an open-mouthed equine. ''Yourself?'' he questioned her back, stepping to the side to occupy himself with staring at the patches of little grass that grew near the pond.
