Okay, I do need some input. I keep seeing hawks...everywhere. Like on the interstate while im driving, just on busy rodes, they'll get real close...Anyone have any idea if this means anything??

do you have a spirit animal, a guide on your road when you dream, meditate, or astral plane (not that I can do this but). Perhaps the Hawk is trying to tell you that it is your spirit animal, or that you and it are basically one, I agree that you should look into meanings but dont just look into ones that would stay within wiccan teachings although if I remember correctly that would be artemis telling you to pay attention maybe calling you to her.

Thanks everyone for the input. Yes I already know my guide. It's a black cat with white paws. I mean, It might be another spirit animal, and Rihanna was my recent patron and I have felt a calling per say. With the luck thing. I have also heard the same thing from another Wiccan, my friend, yet my life hasn't been the most luckiest...-.- So maybe it is Artemis. I will look into it.

Comments of any sort?: Well, I practice on my own and am still learning, though I already have some supplies (but have never cast a circle), though I know I will at least be meditating on Imbolc.

Yeah, I'm kinda new, but there have been signs in the past that lead me on my path.

Also, I'm here to make friends and learn with everyone or learn from them, if that's okay. And to talk or bounce ideas off of you or whatever may happen! I'm just glad this club exists and I can get some interaction with like-minds. ^^

Welcome all new comers <3 and I do agree, Vestra it was a very great odea tp make this club <33 I just love hte idea of meeting new wiccans and feeling that it provides some comfort and guidance to know that some of ya'll are experiencing some of the things I do.

Maby someone could post the some basics on casting one?

Casting a Circle (at least how I do it):

Step 1: Pick the spot to cast your circle and have everything ready; consecrated water, consecrated salt, wand/knife/dagger (if you do not have one of these you can make a wand very easily with a stick) and have a purpose (this is very important, you cannot just cast a circle for the fun of it).You may use incense when casting your circle too, if you have it. Circles are usually started facing east and continued clockwise.

Step 2: You must walk the circle three times; once with the salt, once with the water and once with the wand/dagger/knife. The salt and water are sprinkled as you walk the circle and the dagger or wand is held above the circle as you go around. As you walk the circle each time, you must say a spell. I use this one (you can make one up or look up another one if you wish):

Round the circle now I go,
As above, so below.
The power builds to my demand,
and forms itself so I can,
swiftly draw this goal to me,
this is my wish, so shall it be.

Step 3: After casting your circle, make sure you call on the elements and most importantly the God and/or Goddess before your ritual or it may not work.

Closing your Circle (This is important):

Step 1: Starting in the east and moving clockwise, dismiss the elements and thank the God and/or Goddess and any Otherworldly beings who helped you.

Step 2: Symbolically cut a door in your circle and say:

The circle is open, but unbroken.
