A small purple and pink Jellybean Dragon ran across a small field, her tail trailing behind her like a long ribbon. A bouquet of flowers was clenched in her jaws, disabling her ability to make a sound without spitting out the beautiful petals. Her eyes were locked firmly on what lay ahead, and the only thoughts running through her head were Quickly, Cal, quickly!
She skid to a stop in front of a fence before briskly jumping over the wood, landing stiffly on the other side. The Jellybean Dragon began digging up the soil, making a few deep holes. She delicately laid the flowers in the holes individually, and then began pushing the loose soil on top of the roots. She patted the ground and turned, her tail whipping around dangerously, narrowly missing the flowers.
Smiling with satisfaction, the young Bean trotted away from the newly planted foliage and shook her paw, dirt flying off of her only bracelet. She rushed over to a small patch of purple flowers, her tail waving behind her with a mind of its own. She sat down in front of the patch, her eyes twinkling. "Calantha." She murmured the shared name between herself and the flowers, before narrowly picking up a nearby watering can and sprinkling the thirsty plants.
Later on that day, Calantha left her small garden in search of more flowers to nurse back to health. It was her favorite hobby, helping poor withering flowers, and she always organized a small search party of one to find any that needed care. Her tail waved out behind her nervously. She knew this area well, but she also knew there was always danger of some sort in every area you stepped. Thorns, bears, hot sauce, what else could be worse?
Yet, she wore a mask of bravery. For the flowers. What would they do if they saw her scared?
She slowed down in front of a forest. Usually she steered away from the dense trees, but... What if there was a flower desperately in need of water within the forest?
Calantha took a deep breath. As if instinctively, she took a step forward and proceeded through the trees.
The branches rustled above in welcome, and Calantha found herself smiling as she weaved around the thick treetrunks.
