Creekpaw smiled joyfully as Leopardkit caught the ball in her claws. He crouched once the ball came slowly tumbling towards him, and once it got closer and looked like it was about to stop, the black tom sprung up and landing on the moss ball. He picked it up in his jaws and smiled, "Bet you can't get it off me," he mewed, his eyes now narrowed playfully challenging the kit. He crouched a little again, ready to

"We'll see." Leopardkit growled playfully and crouched down, taking a few paw steps towards the larger black tom. She really didn't know how to attack a cat who was larger and stronger then her, but she was going to try and get that moss ball no matter what. She would be an Apprentice soon, just like Almondpaw, Birdpaw, Shadowpaw, Spiderpaw, and Creekpaw, and she wanted to learn how to at least defend herself, and maybe attack as well. The golden spotted tabby kit shot forwards, her tail slightly streaming out behind her as she pelted towards the older cat.

I wasn't fazed one bit by Deerfoot's threat. "Okay, the mighty warrior will tattle on me, I don't mind at all," I smiled brightly, though the smile never reached my ice cold eyes. I stood my ground, staring at Deerfoot and refused to break my gaze first and run away with my tail between my legs like he wanted me too. No, I have everything to prove and I will work the rest of my life if I have to prove it! My heart swelling with anger and something else that I could quite place at the time and I struggled to keep the emotion out of my eyes.

I watched as Nightstream and Deerfoot went at it. Deerfoot's empty threat and Nightstream's icy reply. I flicked my tail nervously, wanting to get on the patrol. I blinked my green blue eyes and stared at my paws, making swirling motions in the dirt and not wanting to get into the fight and possibly become an enemy to one of these cats. Especially Nightstream, I shivered, She gives me the creeps...I'm not sure she belongs.... A cloud of doubt crept into my mind. Nightstream was being far to aggressive. I tried to shake the cloud away and it stayed in the corner of my thoughts.

"I come over here and try and be nice to you and what do I get? I rude and icy reply! Autumnfang and I can just pick up.." Deerfoot paused to look around for cats. "Moonstripe, Patchfur and Creekpaw to come if you dont want to." The brown tom turned and stalked towards the camp entrance, turning back to call Autumnfang.

"Ooh, no, don't get me wrong, I'm coming," I replied smoothly, flicking my tail and walking towards the entrance to the camp. I picked up Autumnfang's uneasiness towards me and I welcomed that as a challenge to prove myself, yet again, as I had to keep doing over and over again. I am no different from any of you! My gaze sweeps around the camp. I am a warrior of the code and they will know it.

I hurried after Deerfoot and caught up with him, matching his quick steps with my long strides. "Gesh," I whispered to Deerfoot, glancing back at the following shadow (Nightstream). "That was harsh!" I muttered, shaking my pelt as if to shake off the cloud that had hung in my mind. I set my mind set to mode hunting. I will bring back enough freshkill to feed all the elders! I silently set the goal in my mind, wanting to serve my clan as much as possible and abide by the amazing code. I could just picture the prey almost falling into my waiting claws.

I nodded my head, still a little ashamed at my mistake but then raised my head to find Spiderpaw snickering at me. I gave him my best glare back but then got a sudden idea. I skipped up to him and said, "Hello Spiderpaw! Isn't it just a wonderful, beautiful day?! Perfect for a patrol!" In the most cheerfully annoying tone that I could come up with. I brought my bright green gaze up to look at the blue sky and swept my tail around the late spring morning for effect.

Medicine Cat ∞ In camp ∞ With: No one

I sighed and my stomach grumbled but I ignored it, like always. I usually didn't fetch my own food, for I was normally far to busy, making my build thinner than most warriors. Not seeing my apprentice right away I ducked back into the coolness of my den and began shifting through herbs, going through the old dried out ones and separating them from the fresher new ones. I shook my head thinking, My apprentice should be doing this for me... I sneezed and examined the fresh compared to the old. There was to many old and not enough fresh. If there was to be an outbreak in a sudden illness...I wouldn't be ready, I realized with dismay, shaking my head once again.

Creekpaw sprung to the side as Leopardkit began to dart towards him. He made sure the moss ball was still firmly held in his maw before bolting towards the other side of camp, running as quick as his long legs would carry him. Although he had quite a lot of muscle under his pelt, surprisingly the apprentice wasn't strong, but he was quick. He turned back to Leopardkit, not realizing that his name has being said by camp entrance since he wasn't really listening. Creekpaw smirked and shook his black pelt, then crouched ready for Leopardkit to charge at him again.

Patchfur perked his ears when he heard his name. The white and grey tom scanned the clearing, until his gaze rested on Deerfoot, Nightstream and Autumnfang. He didn't get up to go on patrol with them, it sounded like the cats were arguing and he didn't want to get involved, at all, so kept his distance. If he was called again, then he would get up and follow, if not he'd leave them be.

Leopardkit flicked her tail tip and followed Creekpaw. She was a bit more lean and thin then the black tom, but she wasn't as quick as him, or as strong yet. The younger golden spotted tabby she-cat play-growled again and launched herself off of the ground, her bright green eyes flashing. She aimed for Creekpaw's back, wanting to at least try and land on the tom.

Creekpaw grinned as Leopardkit bounded towards him again. He thought about giving her a chance and staying where he was, he did, but to make it easier for the kit to land on him he quickly rolled over so that the golden spotted she-kit would land on his soft, exposed belly. His eyes flicked towards Leopardkit, and he scrunched up slightly, waiting for the weight of the kit to land on him.
