What Leiy said. It may also help you if you focus on either aspect solely before attempting both at once (e.g. focus only on projection or focus only on communication).

I wasn't too sure if this thread was what I was thinking it was, but it is! I'm so surprised the whole deamon thing is still alive! Unfortunately I found my daemon some time ago and have lost contact with it (if that is at all possible). I tried reconnecting with him but I'm not too sure if it's too late or not..

He was a artic fox daemon by the name of Dameon, but liked to go by "Dai". I found him back when I was in eight grade.

Its never to late to connect again!
There are plenty of older members who still converse with their daemons.
If you need any help, I am always here to lend my assistance.

That makes me feel a lot better. Thank you Leiy for the reassurance. I honestly thought I had lost him! I've been so busy these past years that I just never thought of him during that time. I feel bad about it, but I feel like he'll understand regardless.

But the link you posted could help me. I feel like it won't take me long to find him again, since I found him like a few days after my friend taught me all I needed to know about daemons. Though I can't really put a finger on what kind of fox he was.. I remember what he looks like and what he sounds like, but eh. XP I gotta try and reconnect.

I was browsing The Daemon Forum when I came across an analysis that described me so perfectly... I can't describe it but I think we finally found his true form- a Maned Wolf. Gahh I'm so excited (:

Congratulations! That is always a very exciting thing. How old was the analysis? Just be sure not to take the literal points to heart (e.g. "You like to work at night time than during than day", "your legs are oddly long" etc). You may even want to ask for an updated analysis. I've seen the old ones, I know how it is, haha.

Thank you (: It was from 2009, I think. So, a little older but still good. There were only a few points that I didn't agree with- I don't think I stand out in a crowd, for instance, but that might be because I can't see myself objectively.

^ Aa, you mean Kris's, right? It's from April 2008, and very outdated. Definitely ask for a newer one, if you're able to.

Oo yeaah. What Shiro said. Plus the trait you brought up is an example of a literal trait, lol. So definitely request an updated analysis! They'll be a lot more detailed and objective than analyses pre-2011 at least, I want to say.

Also, the form you're likely to settle as (later on, as you said you are still quite unsettled) will be on the basis of your personality, not your daemon's. There are all sorts of analyses you can read through on TDF as well, if you're ever curious.

Oh yeah, I knew that. I've actually been looking around for some forms that may fit my personality without much luck. I've been giving a lot of thought to writing a RA when I have a chance. ^^
