So, I've been stalking this thread for quite sometime now. And I thought it was finally time I post~! x3

My name is Ping, and I'm a very new Dæmian. I only found out about Dæmonism a couple of months back when I happened to have stumbled across this thread. I read up on the links posted on the front page and discovered my own Dæmon, Psychedelic. He's very unsettled, and I doubt he will be for a very long time. However, he does tend to take the form of a grey wolf, a domestic cat, and a Fennec fox quite often. Then again, because I am still young, and very influential, I'm not surprised. These three animals are, admittedly, my favorite animals. Sometimes I wonder if Psyche settles as one of these three because of my own personal preference...Though, the more I think about it, I think he would be a good jackal or coyote according to his personality. (Though, a cat still may be a possibility since he is very independent.)

Psyche is..Very difficult to describe. He's the opposite of me, but yet..Not the opposite of me. He's definitely a personality I would suppress. He's somewhat flamboyant in the fact that he just..Doesn't care..At all. About anything. Not one thing.

I'm not implying he's a jerk, just..He couldn't care less. He's extremely sarcastic. I am as well, but he is to a point that it's somewhat hurtful. I have the same potential, but would never go that far. Not too mention he has a very sick sense of humor. I do too, but not quite as morbid as his. You wouldn't be too far off by calling him crazy, that's for sure..He's not as awkward as I am either. He would go out of his way to make new friends while I sometimes sit there awkwardly, wishing I was more social. OTL

He's very protective too. And he hates the fact that I procrastinate so much. It's something he would never do. And he often yells at me for it. I'm not sure why..But I like describing Psychedelic as a "gay best friend", if that makes any sense? I'm bisexual myself, and I did read that, depending on your own sexual preference, it could affect the gender of your Dæmon? Then again, a Dæmon's gender could just be what you're comfortable with as well, correct? I'm not quite sure what that makes Psyche..Any opinions on that?

Since I've been awfully busy lately, I haven't been speaking with Psychedelic as much as I'd like too. But when I do get a chance to, our conversations are also "telepathic" ones. That's actually how we first started speaking. He's the one who first started it. Though, I never really "see" him very well. I do, of course. But just glimpses. I hear his voice more than I ever see him. And if I do see him, he rarely ever talks. We always really just talk "telepathically". Though, I can tell what expressions he would be making or if he would be rolling his eyes or etc.

Hello Ping! I'm Beebs; I'm a rather new Daemien myself. My daemien is named Veetanuim, but I call her Vee, as a nickname. She likes to take the forms of a small caiman, Peregrine Falcon, or Ethiopean Wolf.

Like you said, my daemien is the opposite me, yet very similar. Snarky, sarcastic, and rude, Vee can put others down easily. Despite all that, she's more compassionate than I am.

Which gender you like can affect your daemon, but has nothing to do with what your daemon's gender is! It can be any gender you wish! I'm straight as a line, and I'm a girl, but I felt more comfortable around other girls, since I was too shy to talk to any guy. Vee kind of flipped that around for me, and my choir group contributed to that, but she's going to stay female. Besides, I can't see her as anything but a girl now.

Welcome to the Daemien Union! If you need anything, I would ask some of the more experienced users. I'm still rather new to all of this, even if I have known Vee for eight / nine months.

Also, the form you're likely to settle as (later on, as you said you are still quite unsettled) will be on the basis of your personality, not your daemon's. There are all sorts of analyses you can read through on TDF as well, if you're ever curious.

I wasn't too sure if this thread was what I was thinking it was, but it is! I'm so surprised the whole deamon thing is still alive! Unfortunately I found my daemon some time ago and have lost contact with it (if that is at all possible). I tried reconnecting with him but I'm not too sure if it's too late or not..

He was a artic fox daemon by the name of Dameon, but liked to go by "Dai". I found him back when I was in eight grade.

I think I need help, too. Halogen is super unpredictable, and likes only to contact me when he feels like it. SO I rarely ever talk with him anymore. D:
