This is my prompt blurb for the day e-e
I'm pretty tired, so. yeah.
xD
wander through the hills
from here to there
to faraway,
looking here and there to stay.
looking through the green fields
bushes,
flowers,
trees,
rabbits,
foxes,
bumble bees.
wilting flora,
everywhere,
no more fauna
here to stare.
a spark,
a single flame,
set the hills alight again,
not with life,
but with terrors,
eating the men for their errors.
water power
firemen, firewoman, fireplanes,
with much pain
came little gain.
finally extiguished the roaring flame,
and the hills died again.
Lay there, dead and still,
bare as the barest hill-
grey as far as you could see,
and not a single bumble bee.

Well, I'm re-writing a story I started in 5th grade for a Writing Club I joined with my friends... So far I've turned 9 original pages into 36 or so. XD

Wow I should totally look at one of my old stories and do that. xD
For those of you who wanted to see this...
I'm lying under an old oak tree,
upon the highest hill
Waiting for something to see
But I know I never will
The grass it goes for miles and miles
Swaying in the breeze
Waiting for a lonely child
It's waiting for me
But I will never move again
Every taste is bile
I have lost my happiness
I have lost my smile
I'm lying under and old oak tree
Upon the highest hill
Waiting for my time to breathe
But I know I never will
It's actually a very sad poem... It's about a young person who died but whose thoughts are still alive and is aware of what happens. The world is waiting for her [or him] but she can't move and everything that is going on is sad so she's being put through agony having to watch everything.

It's actually an amazing story, but horribly written. So I'm revamping it, hopefully to get it published on day. :3

I like both of the poems ouo
jesus christ I can't write poetry to save my life.
for journey's poem in particular, some of the vocab could be a bit stronger/vivid/specific, you know? A lot of your descriptions that you used are adequate, but I'm confident that you can push it to the next level. especially for poetry, I feel like you have to give really strong words to put a specific feel to it, since you're limiting how you write the sentences and such.

Username: Hybrid
Nickname: Hybie, if you so desire c:
Writing Preferences (Poet, Novelist, roleplayer...): Published poet, novice novelist and simple roleplayer.
Example (Can be anything; must be a good length): [This is just an example of the poetry I write as my novel is all hand written. "Blood Red Ink," was very recently published in a collaborative poetry book.]
[Blood Red Ink]
All she had was paper and a blade
delirious, she manipulated her knife.
Like a plague she was urged by the iron
To live,
Win.
But who like that blood,
running through the veins of creativity,
must show cold want to escape
its prison.
She too, moaned only to sing until
the words made it on the page,
and the story was written.
Links to stories / roleplays: All my roleplays are off-site I'm afraid, I haven't roleplayed on CS for a long time.
Other: Uhm...my username is the title of the novel I've been writing for a good two years now and I hope to have the rough draft done by summer this year.
