"Huh?" Slipclaw asked, flipping over to float on his back too.

[Pharaoh]

Seapaw snorted, propelling herself farther into the lake. "The world always keeps on turning, and sometimes it leaves us behind. You've got to be mad to keep up with it." She finished the thought, turning over to doggy-paddle back to Slipclaw.

"You talk like a medicine cat!" Slipclaw laughed.

[Pharaoh]

Seapaw shrugged in the water. "Just your random thought of the day, courtesy of Seapaw the slippery fish!"

Slipclaw laughed again. "You're funny!" He said.

[Pharaoh]

Seapaw grinned. "Sometimes I really try. And other times I'm just being stupid." She laughed, sinking down into the water, the only sign of her whereabouts being a few taunting bubbles.

Slipclaw smiled slightly.

[Pharaoh]

Seapaw popped back up, looking at Slipclaw with a slight grin on her face. "What do you think of me, Slippy? Am I cute? Fun? Crazy?" The last word hung in her mind, ringing out painfully.

"Yes." Slipclaw said. "And no. You're cute, you'e fun, but you're not crazy."

[Pharaoh]

Seapaw smiled. "Thanks." she said softly, relaxing and happy to hear it from Slipclaw.
