The night has come,
Darkness surrounds him.
He is not afraid,
He prefers the light dim.
He enjoys the mystery,
The thrill of the night,
He watches the insects,
And of course they don't bite.
The moons slowly rises,
Creating a shadowy scene.
A smile spread across his face,
In the moonlight his fur gleams.
He picks up his pace,
Under the stars he does run.
Others may be scared,
But he knows it is fun.
Wind blowing through his fur,
Eyes reflecting the moonlight.
There is surely nothing better,
Than the thrill of the night.
