-----Lyra let out a small chuckle of laughter. "Of course I won't run." She said. And when he said she could never be annoying, she beamed and rubbed her head against his to show affection. Her sparkling green eyes twinkled in the starlight, and she couldn't have asked for anything else. He was such a flirt, but Lyra found it amusing and flattering. "You are such a flirt, y'know." She smiled at him, though, and then glanced upward at the sky. The breeze whistled by, creating a low sound. She found comfort in it and laid her head down on her hooves, but leaned against his warm body. Her tail flickered around the dusty flooring of the cave. It was light outside from the moon and stars all shining so brightly. Though the day could have been a bit better, she hardly remembered it, the night was perfect. There was nothing to be afraid of. Not with Asagai there.

After a few minutes Skittles had calmed herself down to the point where she could step foreward and observe the strangers from afar. The filly perked her ears, her interest now regaining once again. She looked at her dam and grinned faintly, she was fine with looking at the two greet her sire, as long as she wasn't anywhere near them; with the slight fright that did linger about inside her with the newborn colt nearby. Again turning her head she focused on some trees not too far away. A little tremble cascaded throughout her as she contemplated whether she should give in to her curiousity for adventure or stay by with her family. Being the young foal she was, curiousity won of course. With a bounce in her step she trotted over to the gathered trees to play.

I look at Regina and a sigh escapes my lips, as another smile illuminates my mouth. "You really love animals, don't you... especially birds." I don't know if it's a statement or a question - probably both. "And birds seem to have a sixth sense - they always know what's coming. So don't worry, they'll be safe." I flick my tail, and let the plume float to the ground as I bring my tail back down. I feel it touch something warm, and realise it's resting gently on Regina's rump. I resist the urge to flinch and flick it off. If she doesn't want my tail on there, she'll move it.

Bruno smiled at Skittles, (A FAIR WARNING SKITTLES: GET A BOYFRIEND AND BRUNO IS GOING TO SUPER OVER PROTECTIVE XD) He then looked at Sienna, "I'm Bruno." Looking around himself, he then asked, "are you guys alone? Or have I trespassed into someone territory?" He really had no intention of fighting possibly to the death with another stallion in front of two foals, including his daughter, however, he would if he had to. His ear swivled, searching for the sounds of angry snorts or the drumming hoof beats of a herd of Equids.

Regina grinned, "I really do, and you're right, birds are my favorite. Probably because I'm jealous actually, with wings and the ability to sing songs all day, and same can even sleep on the water; float without thinking! They've got it all!" She said excitedly. "And you're right, I'm sure their fine. I just worry, because one thing they don't have is protection from the great big lights in the sky." Regina added, referring to the lightening. "The lights like to burn their homes.." A shadow crossed her face and at the same time she felt something on her.Normally she would have scooted away but it felt comforting. "And then they all burn, everything, and everyone." She said in a voice that was nearly inaudible.

The trees supplied shade for the little filly as she entered it's darkness. Skittles grinned, forgetting about the events that had happened earlier. She heard the calls of different birds and whinnied, glancing up to look at the invisible things. Skittles smiled slightly treading a bit farther in to the bush, eager to see more.

After a few minutes she halted, craning her neck to look towards the path she just tread from, she had come a long way. The filly could faintly see the opening of the trees she had entered the tiny forest from and decided it was better to adventure back to the small group; it wasn't worth it getting lost over some petty filly adventure, even Skittles had the knowledge to realize that.

When she was less than a hundred feet from the clearing her ears shot back, hearing the slight crack of underbrush. The filly turned her head towards the sound, freezing in stance while she spied the bushes around her. The dark flaxen snorted and twitched her ears, lowering her head to the ground. ''I must be hearing things..'' she said to herself, her voice barely audible. With yet another snort, Skittles walked on shaking the questioning strange noise she heard from her head seconds ago.

"I am Sienna," she replied to Bruno, "And this is Russet, my son. I was separated from my herd, and Russet's twin brother, while I was carrying him. I gave birth not a few days ago."
Sienna looked up at him hopefully. her eyes drifted to the grey-brown mare in the background. She wondered where the little filly had gone. Underneath her, Russet trembled.

Hiccup

A disgruntled sigh escaped Hiccup when Rhapsody went to telling her she wasn't able to do everything. She was always told nothing was impossible, but telepathy was proving just that. " Well telepathy is too hard, " she grumbled, shuffling away when Rhap nudged her shoulder. All of a sudden the filly got to her feet and turned around anyways, looking at both colts in front of her with a blank expression. " Telepathy is stupid anyways, " she explained, tossing her head into the air defiantly.

What Rhapsody said next made Hiccup confuted. What was a buzzkill? A buzz was a noise and you can't really kill a noise. Flies made buzzing noises, what she killing flies? Looking around her, spinning in place a few times, she took no notice to any flies so the equid was at a loss. " What's a buzzkill? And what do I do best? " Hiccup had to ask, she wasn't sure what he was talking about with either situation. Hiccup was a pretty good runner but she didn't want to run right now.

I lower my voice, and it's barely a whisper. "You don't need wings to fly." The words rustle from my lips, and I look Regina in the eyes. Her quipping already resembles a bird, the sweeping wings and bright eyes. "But you're right." I say, after a long pause. "The lightning. Setting trees alight... that's when fires are started." I look up into the flashing sky, rain dripping onto my nose as I extend it from the cover of the overhang. "Sometimes it's not the storm which is the worst, but the horror which follows after."

I look back at Regina, bringing my senses back to earth. "I remember, when I was a foal." Suddenly, realising what I'm saying, I try to close my mouth. I don't know where these words are coming from. But I've started talking, so I can't stop now. "I was never afraid of storms. After I got over the inital fright of the booming and clapping of thunder, I used to scare my mom half to death by walking out from shelter just to show the storm I wasn't afraid." A laugh tickles my lips as the memory flashes through my mind. "But one day, in a particularly small storm, I walked right outside, and some lightning struck a tree a few metres in front of me. I got the biggest fright of my life." A grin flashes onto my mouth, and lights dance in my eyes. "I wasn't so fearless after that. Whenever I heard the slightest rumble of thunder, I took cover. It would then take a great deal of coaxing to get me out." I pause, and as if on cue, a particularly large rumble booms through the sky. "I've gotten over my fear since then, but not to the same extent as before that day. I now have the sense to find shelter. At least I've learnt something from those days." I grin, mischeviously at Regina. It feels so comfortable, snuggled up in here, while the booming is going on outside. "But I know what you mean with the birds. It only takes one nest, and those eggs, those chicks, are captive in a tree." For the first time, I find myself thinking deeply of birds - hawks, pidgeons, sparrows, owls - and what the storm will mean for them. I realise how naive my previous words must have sounded, and I shiver.

{ I believe that is correct since your formatting consists of an image of the name, rather than actual text. There is still ways to make it look fancy though. }
