Hinata

Hinata smiled when Kiba confirmed that he had yet to make plans before the BBQ, but it had her wondering, what was Naruto doing here? She decided against asking, not only was it rude, it was also awkward. Actually, she should be happy that the boy was here! Maybe she could work up the courage to invite him to hang out with her and Kiba. But then again, would he want to? What if Naruto actually had plans and just stopped by to say hi to Kiba! With these conflicting feelings, she choose not to invite him. It's not that she didn't want to, but she felt it would be physically impossible. She probably wouldn't be able to stutter it out. Thankfully, Kiba couldn't read minds, he'd probably scold her for her lack of self confidence.
Kiba spoke again, this time asking if she was going to go to the party. She hadn't been able to answer before he continued, teasing about her almost completely obvious crush. Nothing could have stopped her cheeks from flushing a bright red, even though he seemed to tease her about it each time. It wasn't annoying, but that didn't any less embarrassing. Hinata managed a meek nod, hoping no one noticed her pressing deeper in her scarf, trying to hide her very red face. What made the joke even more embarrassing than normal was that Naruto was right there.....Oh god! Naruto is right there! Hinata couldn't speak, how could she? She was so embarrassed that she had to focus intently on petting Akamaru just to make herself feel less awkward. Oh dear! What would Naruto think of the comment?
There was that moment of silence, awkward or not it was Kiba's fault because of that joke, and truthfully, Hinata was thankful for the silence. It gave her time to calm her internal panic. Hinata almost jumped when Naruto had loudly, and randomly, greeted her. "H-hello, Naruto-kun." She managed to say, glancing his way. When Hinata tried to make eye contact, she fail miserably; she couldn't even look at his face. But how could anyone? With that bright, boyish smile that can warm even the coldest hearts and those deep, expressive blue eyes that was truly, as they say, the doors to his heart, is it possible for anyone to stay calm? She had already felt her face warming up, will this eternal blush ever leave her, she couldn't help but tilt her face downward just to hide it. "May I ask, why are you here?" She asked softly, hoping she didn't sound too nervous or rude. "N-not that I mind, I was just asking." She added quickly, slowly trailing off until she ended with a murmur. She rewarded herself by managing another, longer, glance at his face, which, as usual, ended with her eyes quickly falling due to embarrassment.

Hinata's question had left him, in a way, speechless. He looked at the floor dimly as he tried to remember. Why was he here? But after a few minutes the moron had remembered! "Ah! I finished work and was kinda bored so I wanted to see if I could maybe annoy Kiba for a while!" he laughed softly. He always used the word 'annoy' whenever explaining something like this. It was his way of sayying: "If I could hang out" or "Jam for awhile..." He looked back at the scarf Hinata had tried so desperately to bury herself into. He'd seen it not far from the shop he'd baught his from; it was a new fashion items in shop. The advertisement for those scarfs were nice for awhile but slightly annoying. A little girl being given a warm scarf that not only matched with her clothes perfectly but could be wrapped in different ways to keep up with the statements girl were into now-a-days. But it seemed more neater, elegant with a hint of cute on her. He had to ask, but not now. Maybe later on at the BBQ?! With a swift smile he spoke once more: "I'll be looking forward to seeing you there Hinata! It's like everyone's all getting together again! It's been, like, forever since that last happened...!" All of a sudden his smile started to drop. The way he had said 'like' wasn't his way. God, the way those models talk. It's starting to get to me!

((I'm extremely sorry that I haven't posted in such a long time!! School has gotten extremely stressful these past two months. Last month, I had been focusing on studying for my SATs and this month I have both a research paper and a big project, that's basically another research paper, in chemistry, both due on dates are way too close to each other. I haven't had a muse for roleplaying because my brainpower is getting all used up on school work, after school. I know that sounds completely lame, but Kit doesn't want to post a chumpy reply! I'm really super-duper sorry to make ya'll wait!))
