As the meeting came to an end, Zinniapaw stood up, and wondered over towards the medicine cat's den in search of Silentpaw.

Mistyfoot rose to her paws, watching as the newly apointed warrior left camp. She contemplated going with him, to help him cool down, but thought better of it. He'd want to be alone, and she'd prefer to keep her fur in tact...

Firepaw got to his paws, and stretched his back, his flame coloured pelt welcoming the sun with enthusiasm. He flicked his brother with the tip of his tail to get his attention, and then stood back up. "Want to go hunting?" He asked. Rootpaw yawned, and then nodded. "We need to get a warrior though..." He murmurmed, anoud by the rule. Firepaw could tell by his reaction that he wanted nothing more than to be a warrior, so that he could come and go as he pleased; though Firepaw knew that even then, that was frowned upon. Firepaw then turned to Russetpaw to ask if she'd join, but she was already bounding away, her long, fluffy tail held high in the air. "I'll as Thorntail!" She could over her shoulder as she went searching for the tom.

Thorntail heard his name and turned around, seeing the young apprentice bound up to him. "Yes?" he asked kindly.

Russetpaw starred down at the tom as he lay in his bed. She felt bad for disturbing him, though didn't see any point in turning back now. Summoning up enough courage, she began to form he words. "Would you please take us hunting?" She question, worry filtering through her tone, although not failing it. She was mature for her age, very tall, too, because of her heritage, so other Clans usually mistook her as a warrior. Rootpaw loved it, to feel greater than he really was, though Russetpaw didn't really care. "It'd be your first hunt as a warrior," She prompted, "And we'd be honoured to join you...."

(I just realized Thorntail has to do his vigil "tonight" XD)

Thorntail nodded. "What about your mentors? Can't they take you? I'll go anyways, but I would just like to know."

(My cat is investigating my desk and my stale bread, knowing I am rping a cat XD)

Russetpaw shrugged, she didn't exactly have a good excuse. She contemplated telling him that they couldn't find them, but she'd be lying, since they didn't even look. Plus, how exactly could you loose three warriors?! "We just thought that you'd like to come," She replied genuinely. "But if you'd prefer, we can go find our mentors instead...?"

"Oh no, I'd quite like to hunt with apprentices like you." Thorntail stood up and stretched, almost hitting Russetpaw with his claws.

Hollypaw limped over she looked at thorn tail

Russetpaw quickly jumped out of his way as he stretched, making sure not to get in his way. "Great!" She replied happily, wondering what he meant by 'apprentices like her.' Quickly she shook her head to get rid of the thought, and led the way out of the den, and over to her brothers who were waiting. She watched as Rootpaw mumurmed somthing to Firepaw, only for him to shush him with a curt flick of his tail. Russetpaw's eyes narrowed on her brothers as she tried to think of what it was that had been said, since she was too far away to hear. Trying to relax, she turned around to make sure Thorntail was following.

Thorntail looked below him slightly at Russetpaw, smiling at the thought that only a few moments before, he was an apprentice as well. He almost tripped over her, but kept his balance as he padded along into the forest.
