Darkpaw sniffed the air. He couldn't smell any prey over the smells of monster and crowfood. Oh crowfood. "We aren't eating crowfood right?"

Shadow shook her head and smiled. ''No. No. There's plenty of stuff here. Different from what your use to.'' She said.

"But it's alive?" Darkpaw asked. His gray eyes skeptical.

''No.'' Shadow said smiling. ''All dead.'' She said her tail tip twitching slightly. Icepaw nodded in agreement.

Darkpaw nodded trying to look interested. But as soon as they turned away he made a barfing face with his tongue sticking out. Dead food? It was going to be awful he knew it.

IcePaw glanced back. " come on DarkPaw, there's one more place i just have to show you!" she said bolting off towards the heart of the city.

Soulfire, Shadow, and the rest of the gang followed.

Darkpaw sighed and followed his paws thudding on the hard twoleg ground. What I wouldn't give to be back in the forest.

Icepaw stopped in the center of the city. She slowly walked into the park and sat by the waterfall. ''This is the place where I go to relax.'' She said.

Shadow, soulfire, and the rest of the gang sat in the shade, watching them.

Darkpaw jumped up next to her and looked down into the water. It was to open and close to monsters. He felt uneasy and exposed. But even that couldn't help him from noticing that the waterfall was pretty. The water fell a sheet and sparkled in the sun. He noticed round shiny circles in the bottom of the fountain. The were different colors and sizes. They were mostly silver but some of the smaller ones were bronze. "What are those?" Darkpaw asked pointing with a paw.

Icepaw smiled. ''Looks like fish. I haven't been here in so long i don't completely recognize them.'' She said cheerfully. Icepaw slipped and fell into the cold water. She yelped as she fell in, she hit the water with a splash and she went under the water. She soon came up she swam around a bit actually enjoying the water. She swam over to DarkPaw. ''Hey! It's not so bad. Cold. But not bad. You should come on in.'' She said. Icepaw winced as her scars and burn marks started to sting.
