Turning his head slightly to look at the below approaching person, the youngster simply gave a smile for a greeting, as the boy below had given quite an appropriate one for both of them. Not interested if he was noticed by the woman or not, he went to lie of his back on the wooden top of the bookshelf. It was a wonderful little place to relax before going on a search for humanity's oddities which this house was filled with. Originally, the lad had only intended to rest there, but the situation had become different. From his sleeve he pulled two card and looked at them with a smirk.
"So it seems The Chariot has returned. This is rather good news to know, for it means that change is soon to come." he spoke to no one in particular. Letting the first card slip his hand, the wind carried it to Mariana. Floating gently as it floated in the breeze, it fell in front of her with a graceful landing. It was The Chariot, an arcana card from a deck of tarot cards.
"Like Cinderella, who went to the ball and brought a change to the prince's destiny." he murmured and the continued with a normal tone so he could be heard
"It's better than staying with The Hermit." and he allowed the second card to slip and fall to Alain, landing between him and his book.
"The Little Red Riding Hood that was all alone in the dark deep forest" he chortled.
"We'll keep it a secret, of course." Lisitsa laughed cheerfully.
She had not even noticed the expressions the other two were making as she was not interested in such things. What she wished is going to those ruins she had heard about from an annoying source and the more companions she had, the better. A merry group of friends going on an adventure was a wish to be fulfilled. The lass jumped over to a spot in front of them, on the pure white snow that had still not been touched by a soul, making the delightful sound of crushing the frost particles below her feet. When she had landed with one foot, she quickly turned her body towards them and wearing a grin she said:
"Come on, it's going to be fun!"Taking a few bites, the little girl observed as her brother quarreled once more. Whenever someone started a conversation with him, it was pleasant in the beginning and in the end turned into some sort of scandal. It was something she could not quite grasp with her thoughts, for she believed her brother was the kindest person in the world and spoke only the truth when it was needed, but something told her it was impossible for him to be right and the entire household wrong. Taking a spit of milk, the warmth that traveled down her body made the child shiver with delight. The sensation of feeling so flushed on the inside was indeed delectable. She enjoyed having a meal with family, even when there was loud shouting or disputes. It only meant they were bonding.
"Can we make a snowman, too?" Haze asked when Daisuke again asked someone if they wanted to have a snowball fight. The girl was looking forward to the snow day as well, especially because it was still cloudy outside and the sunlight was not strong enough.
"I had this odd dream." Amaya began as she walked towards the counter where her breakfast was placed.
"Did we ever have a dog? A brown one? It was strange because I do not recall seeing such a dog before, yet it appeared so clearly in my dream, with such refine detail." Taking a fork, she began eating there, on the counter. It was something she took from her mother, as the woman often had to dine in that position due to being in a hurry or simply not wanting to sit down and get comfortable. Her daughter was no different. She didn't like sitting down for a short time and then getting right back up. In her opinion, when one sits down to have a meal, they should take their time and converse with whoever is around or take their time and think about different topics while taking bites in a slow manner. Currently, she did not have such time, because she wished to go and to the study and continue her latin lesson.
