Kora stood up in his den, padding outside to go the small food pile from one of the recent catches. He leaned down as he took a vole in his mouth and ate it with gusto, as he hadn't eaten in several days. Kora looked towards a deer, quickly he dug into it, loving the taste of the still warm blood.

Tyler back up one step, and whined. He layed in the first district of the den to keep warm.

star curled up tears running down her cheeks for she didn't mean to growl at him but she was just protective of her pups. what did he ment by do I like kora? offcourse I do but what will happen if they fight each other when I'm in heat tyler will be heart broken and so will kora if he loses. she thought.

Tyler left after a while, ran to the meat pile. He grabbed an elk flank, and brought it back to Star. He layed it down carefully, then saw she had tears. Tyler frowned and licked them away. He smiled and gave her privacy.

star whimpered and only took a bite out of it

He poked his head back to Star. Tyler tilted his head, "You ok, hunny?"

star looked up. " s-sorry for getting angry w-with you but I g-get scared t-thats all", she whimpered.

Tyler norrowed his eyes sadly and frowned, "No, no, no, no..." He shook his head walking inside and laying beside her. Tyler licked her chin and cheek, "Don't get scared... I'll keep you safe." He gave a small smiled, hoping to calm her down.

star smiled and rested her head underneath his chin

Tyler smiled and nuzzled her slightly. He looked at the pups, seeing Stella starting to open her eyes. Tyler gasped silently and had a smile.
