Shark paced the barn length, warming up for the big race. Pacing always helped him to get moving and concentrating on the race. Then his eyes went to a distance look. He stared at the track that had been plowed. Ornage spray paint lay a paw setp ahead of him as it did the other lead dogs. The starting lone conuinte all the way to the snow banks, and behind that, hundreds of people with cameras and crying children. Sharkfang shifted in his harness and felt the blood pump through his body, and his musclues tighen as he watched the guy with the starter gun climb atop an old chair. The guy nodded to all the mushers than the lead dogs. Bang! The guy goes off, and Shark begins trotting again, but at a slower pace so he doesn't wear out. He could feel the breath of the dogs behind him, and imgaine his team taking the lead of the other teams. Then Shark stopped and skitted in the snow, his claws slowing him quickly. He looked back at the barn knowing he had to get the team warmed up as well. He padded to the between the house and the barn then cleared his throat. "Sundance, Star, Marly, Luna,Teddy, Jaspar, Ajax, Steele, Princess, Tundra, Dante, and Angel!" Shark's voice echoed even off the mountains, as he called nice and loud. He wanted to make sure everone was here, so he could go over the race with them. So they could all get synced/

Angel sighed, yawning. "Oh dear Lord." she said with a slight growl, padding outside. This is why I don't miss sledding... she grumbled to herself.

Dante snorted, flicking his tail. He felt ice trickle down his coat as he stepped outside, and he shook his shimmery pelt, his ears pricked. His intelligent eyes scoped the landscape, as he padded towards Shark. A glimmer of eagerness in his gaze as he sat beside his captain, his fur smooth and clean after a good rest in the barn.

Sundance had fallen asleep at the front of the door with the two pups close to her. Sundance was ready for the race but she had to get the puppies inside first. She had not seen Ana in awhile and was beginning to panic. She woke up right away in the morning and was jumping at the door barking she wanted Ana to open the door. She finally ended up sitting down whinning.

Princess padded over beside Dante, smiling. "Hey handsome? Ready for another run?" she asked, sliding her tail under his chin as she past him in a seductive manner.

Ajax roleld his eyes, "Oh boy." he muttered with a sigh, lying down in the fresh cool snow.

Star padded behind them, holding back a laugh at the two. She ran the rest of the way and up to Shark."Hey!" She smiled and yawned."I feel much better, just teeny bit sore." She blinked.

Dante snorted, ignoring Princess. "All ways am." he said padding away.

Star giggled and sat down, bored. Her tail wapped the ground with a hollow sound.

Dante lifted a brow, sitting beside Star. "What's so funny? he asked cocking his head.

Star smiled at him."Princess likes you. Thats good. Right?" Star sighed, her eyes wandering."I miss the day when boys fell for girls first." Star teased.

Dante smiled, "Hey, hey it ain't like that!" he said with a stretch, lying down beside her. "And ya she does I guess. I dunno." he said with a chuckle, nudging Star's shoulder.
