Wolfheart's cough brought her out of the daze she was in, and she pulled back a little. She looked up at him with her big mismatching eyes, full of curiosity and awe, as he spoke.
"My nose?"
She forgot all about it for a moment there!
"Oh, my nose. Yes, it's ok..." she said, rubbing a paw absent-mindedly over the slightly throbbing body part.
She noticed he took in a sharp breath, her her eyes clouded with concern.
"Hey, are you feeling ok?" she leaned up against his foreleg and pressed her forehead against his to feel his temperature, and was startled to feel a significant amount of heat, "it feels like you're burning up with a fever Wolfheart,"
She leaned back from him again. Being on her hind legs meant that she look look directly into his face, and with a startling thought, she began to notice how...How good-looking he actually was.
Focus Duskpaw, focus! You are an Apprentice, he is a Warrior; no use pining for something you can't have!
"I'm still hungry, and you haven't eaten anything. I would suggest some more hunting, but...I'm worried about you," she said truthfully.
Wolfheart
Wolfheart shook his head, mentally scolding himself. Worried about me? he thought. Urg... I must look like a mess then! And so stupid...
"Nah, I'm good. Let's keep hunting. I'm sure it's just the heat." He spoke with a light tone, even though when he glanced up, his ears flattening slightly against his head as he noted the leveled temperature. Wolfheart turned his back on Duskpaw with a lowered head, heading towards the forest wood. "Come on; let's get some prey before everything decides it's too late and we have to head back to camp."
You have to start acting like a warrior, and not a squeamish kit! You promised to take Duskpaw out hunting as a friend who is a warrior; that means you have to start acting like one!
He knew truthfully that he was overreacting, since nothing was going on. They were just friends. Honestly, he had never really paid much attention to her in the past. Just a simple wave of the tail or hello. The she cat had always just been another apprentice. So what was happening now? he wondered. It must be because I've had nothing to do for a while, he told himself. kerri.kerri wrote:" i dont know what do you wanna do", he asked
Rosefrost
Rosefrost sighed. "Do I have to think of everything?" she asked with a challenging smirk, pawing at Breezeflame's ears playfully. "How about we go for a swim, then maybe try and hunt a little?" she suggested. Her neck was leveled with the ground as she walked, her eyes on the warrior suggestively.
