She was awake now. The sun was bright in her eyes, pouring into the opening in the tree's hollow. Thrushcloud yawned and poked her head out of the den, scanning and scenting the area. All was clear, other than the stale stench of twolegs.

Flexing her claws and rising to her paws, the she-cat slipped out of the mossy hollow she had been sleeping in. Thrushcloud was outside of the territory now, downhill from the border. She was covered in dried mud, masking her scent. Everything was going according to plan...

Thrushcloud lifted up something wrapped in a leaf very slowly. She was careful not to get her tongue on the wrapping, and contaminate her mouth with the contents. At an easy pace, the she-cat continued towards FeatherClan territory. A twisted smile contorted her features, followed by a little chuckle. "I can't wait to see the dying look in his eyes." She meowed to herself in mock amusement through the bundle she was carrying.

Darkpelt

With a little nod, the tom swam to shore after his mate. His paws moved slowly through the water, weighed down by fatigue. Darkpelt reached solid ground shortly after Bluetail, shaking his pelt briefly before moving to her side. He licked a paw and swiped it over his ear. "K, let's go." He meowed in his deep yet gentle voice. His legs had a weird feel to them, like it was suddenly much easier to walk. Swimming had taken a lot of effort because the water was so hard to move through, so the nonexistent resistance he expected caused his movements to be less forceful.

Pebblefrost led them to an empty den where he laid her down gently.
