Nyx laughed softly. "I love my green hair. its natural too!" she said. "But I like your hair too."

"You're so lucky!" Iba squealed then shook her head quickly to mess up her hair. "I think my hair is brown." She nodded.

"The dorms are here." Aden stated bluntly as he stopped walking near a row of doors. "I guess we just take our pick."

"Well, its a lovely brown color." Nyx told her. "Actually, I'm sort of jealous. I like my green hair, but I've always wished that I had beautiful brown hair like yours" She turned to Aden. "Thank you." She said.

[Canine Hugger]

"Brown's boring." Iba giggled. From the bit she had seen in dreams, it wasn't a color she particularly enjoyed. "My favorite color is..." she had to think long and hard on what it was called. "Red!"

Aden hung around, for no reason other than keeping an eye on Iba. He wasn't so sure it'd be a good idea to leave the child on her own with the other girl just yet.

Iba's face lit up with excitement. "Oh yes! I would love to!" she exclaimed. "Do you really want to?!" she smiled widely. A friend. She had made another friend. Finally, she was accepted.

"Iba..." Aden began to interrupt, but he hadn't seen the child so excited in a long time. He fell quiet, working his jaw, unsure how this would turn out.
