Angel warily clung to the shadows. Her lithe figure flickering in the Cimmerian shade as she padded down the alleys of the crumbling city, her eyes narrowed as she glanced around the streets. Her tail flicked irritably when she spotted a male, scavenging in the underbrush. "I guess Ill have to wait my turn to search in my favorite place for foods." she sighed to herself.

Dante snorted, licking his chops as he pulled a large bagel out of the garbage bin. "Jackpot," he grinned, a sense of triumph in his voice. His ears pricked when the wind changed and he scented Angel, his hackles raising.

Akane sighed as she nosed around some debris, growling as she wandered the streets. She was searching for some decent food, but there seemed to be a shortage... She pricked up her ears at the sound of birds, crouching down and watching. She leapt forwards, miscalculating her jump slightly. Luckily enough she had missed by only a little bit, still getting its wing. It couldn't move very far away from her, so as soon as she could. She grabbed it again, this time biting into the bird's neck, the hot, thick liquid rolling down into her jaws.
She trotted over to Dante, grinning, obviously pleased with herself. He had found a bagel, she had successfully caught a bird.

Dante snapped out of his trance as Akane rushed over. Glancing back in the shadows where Angel had once been, he growled to see she was gone. He sighed. Slightly distressed, "Nice catch." he commented, glancing at the bird.

Angel giggled, flicking her tail. She had managed to get away from Dante just in time. Thanks to that other female.

Akane cocked her head, frowning. "What was it? You were looking over there for some reason, I expect..." She looked at where he had been looking, sighing softly to herself. She was too curious for her own good sometimes... Normally in this sort of situation, she would have sniffed out the problem but unfortunately a scavenging accident had caused her to cut her nose pretty badly, making it almost impossible for her to smell.
But then again, they say when one sense is lost, the others are improved and in her case... It was true. Her hearing was excellent, this made up for her lack of smell... Or at least enough to survive on.

OOC: Since Akane has to win Dante's heart, I hope you don't mind if I put Akane under Assassin for now. Would you like me to put her at another rank or is Assassin okay?

"I thought I scented a rival pack member in the shadows over there. But she's gone now." Dante said, glancing back at the fae. "Let's get back to pack territory with our finds. I would hate for us to get caught in the storm." he said, growling slightly at the thought.

Akane nodded, looking away from the spot where Angel had been. She shook her head, turning away and trotting off. She slowed again, deciding to wait for Dante. She was always getting lost... Better to be safe than sorry this time.
She sighed, her body shuddered as a slight breeze rustled through her fur.

Dante padded beside her, letting his pelt brush hers to help keep her warm.
He wanted to say something, but didn't know what to say. It was strange and awkward, since
he was a figure of authority to her. Though he tried not to act like one.
