Okay, since you've clicked on this I bet you want to read my story. Well, alright. I'm not a professional writer, but I do write a lot. Just so you know. In case you're wondering. Which I guess you aren't. But seriously, don't give me hate mail about this story. I mean, don't blame me if you hate the story! That's your fault. Not mine.
Okay, it's me again. I'll let you to the story, but not until I'm done telling you about it.
Ash Faithe is a girl with a dream. A big dream. She's been practicing to be a concert violinist ever since she was nine. And she's good. Now, as a nineteen year old still hanging on the the last ray of hope for being a concert violinist. And just when she decides it might be all stupid to keep up with it, she gets a letter. Not any letter, the letter. A scholarship to Sherry Belle's School for the Gifted. The letter might be enough to change her life. So she goes. There she works hard to be the best, makes friends with the very girl in the school who feels like a nothing, and befriends a turtle.
❝ "Ash, time to go!" That was definitely her step dad calling her. "Coming." Ash said, softly but loud enough for him to hear. She wanted to look around her room one more time. So she did. But after a while, she waved good-bye and walked out to the car. "It's a long ride to this school..." Mom said worriedly, as if she wasn't sure. But Jeff, her step dad, wasn't letting up on having her go, and he ushered them both into the car. "Yes. It is. Which is why we're leaving early, so Ash can have a bit of time to settle in. And anyway, Amaya, her stuff is already there. We sent it over a week ago, remember?" Mom nodded, but she still had a look all over her face that said: alright, but I'm still not sure about all this... Ash didn't care. Not at first. The whole letter inviting her to the school hadn't seemed a big deal. At least, until Jeff said that going there could give her an extra boost to getting famous. She really wanted to be a concert violinist, and anything that could get her there would be worth whatever cost it had. ❞
