No offence the Lemony or anything, but I really hate books with the author as the main charter. They just remove me of bad fanfics. It might be really good. But that just puts me off.

Lemony Snicket's not really the author, it's actually written by Daniel Handler- Lemony is just a character who happens to be the narrator of the series.

Have any of you written a letter to an author? Do you know any that are really good at getting back to you? I'm just wondering, because I was thinking of writing something to some of my favorite authors.

Yes, that's what I mean. My phone was being stupid.
I'm sure the books is great, but that just puts me off. But I've heard good things about it, so I might give Lemony a go again.
On the subject of letter writing to authors, I don't know, but it often depends of how big the author is. A friend if mine wrote a letter J.K Rowling and never got a reply. But I've never done it my self.

I've considered writing to Ms. Rowling as well, but I've never found a mailing address.

And you should give her books a try. They have a movie coming out in August, so I imagine there's going to be a hype about the series soon.
