Lillypaw padded around in the forest, thinking about what StarClan brought for her future. Would she find a perfect tom cat? Would she have kits? Would she become deputy? These thoughts flooded her mind as she looked over her private, small pond.

Nodded and purred at the young tom's answer. "Very good. In my days I mentored many apprentices. Not all of them could answer that question correctly. The strong scent of the flowers confused them." Mintfur said remembering the apprentices he had that could answer it correctly. Cloverheart, Wavemist, Snowflake, Sparrowflight, many other names came flooding back to him. "Now. Can you catch me a mouse? Then I will show you what I had planned." He said remembering his mentoring days. Mintfur layed down and waited.

ReedLeap stopped. All he could smell now were toadstools. "We've lost it," He mewed disappointedly. ReedLeap frowned once more. "But it's like...the cat is still here...." ReedLeap turned to the patch of toadstools.

Whistleblade glanced around on high alert. And then, then she figured it out. The scent was a mix of fear and cat. It smelled just like her, when she was a bit younger. A tiny chill ran down her spine, and she sunk her claws into the soft moss beneath her paw-pads. She curled her tail slightly, lightly thumping her rear on the bouncy green flora.

ReedLeap hissed and leaped, pouncing on the she-cat. The cat immediately reacted with warrior reflexes, throwing him off and pinning him down. ReedLeap hissed and used his hind legs to slice at her belly. The she-cat yowled in pain and surprise and leape back hissing. ReedLeap pounced once more, pinning her down. He gasped. "VioletDaze?!"

The apprentice gave a happy flick of his tail, quite surprised at himself, "Scorchfire said that I've always had a nose. Especially for trouble." The tabby mewed with a slight rumble that resembled a cat's way of chuckling. "The flowers were pretty confusing, though I guess there might be a nest full of mice somewhere around here." Hawkpaw pondered, trying to scent if there was a nest somewhere out among the many flowers. "Alright. I would love to!" He purred, excited about showing Mintfur how he could hunt. He shuffled among the flowers before spotting a flash of brown fur race past him towards a small patch of flowers, the mouse scuffling at the dirt, trying to dig up a few seeds. He dropped down on his haunches, keeping with the slight wind to avoid the mouse from smelling his presence. The apprentice launched himself at the small mammal, though it scrambled away at the last second, escaping his outstretched claws. He gave a slight hiss before turning around and once again trapping the mouse, delivering a quick bite. He delightfully carried it over to Mintfur, awaiting the elder's approval.

Whistleblade startled to her paws, staring. Violetgaze? What? Was it possible..? It must be, the cat was right there.. "Violetgaze.." she murmured, mostly to herself. Her heart fluttered slightly with the shock of it, and she felt she needed to run. She always felt the urge to run when she was surprised... The small she-cat shook it off, approaching the two siblings a bit.
