Tinypaw cast a glance at the snake, then at Adderpaw. She turned to try and run, but yelped as her broken paw hit the ground. She turned back and stared Adderpaw straight in the eyes. Whats wrong with him? She thought in horror, before looking back at the snake.

Firestorm smiles and grooms her fur when she comes over, "I'm happy to see you." He smiles still.

Darkfire pads over to the cave and curls up in the corner.

Adderpaw snarls, "You have been nothing but rude to me, and I saved your life. More than once." He growls. "The snakes are my only friends because no one else cares about me!" He hisses. He dismisses the massive snake and it hisses, then slithers back into the rocks and releases Adderpaw. He trots away and deeper into the forest, shaking his head with his tail down. He snarls at the snakes who follow him, then kills one, but screeches with pain.

Rainpelt nodded, curling up besides him, feeling him clean her again.
Scarletfeather sat Darkfire and padded over to him. "Hello." She meowed, sitting down next to him.

Tinypaw straightened up, and walked after him as fast as he could. She stepped around the adders, the fur on her neck standing up as their hissed filled the air. "Thornpaw! What's wrong with you?"

Adderpaw keeps walking, swerving as fast as he could around the adders. They kept biting him, but he no longer seemed affected like a normal cat would be. His eyes returned to his normal color and his fur looked ragged and dull. He blinks slowly, but after each bite, the adders would slide back to the snake rocks. Soon, Adderpaw was crossing the border.

Darkfire shrugs, "Hi."He mutters.

Firestorm purrs and licks her ears.

Tinypaw didn't give up, and continued to hobble after him. "Wait!" She called, dodging a adder that tried to bite her.

Rainpelt purrs along with him.

Scarletfeather sat down next to him. "How are you?" She askes.

Darkfire shrugs, "Alright. You?" He asks.

Firestorm grooms her and nuzzles her, then touches his nose to her's.

Adderpaw sits down at the border with a yawn.

"I'm pretty good." Scarletfeather repiled, looking at her sister and Firestorm. "I can tell you used to like her." She meowed.

Rainpelt purred as they touched noses together.

"How?" Darkfire asks.

Firestorm looks at her with loving eyes, "Have you ever been in love? I mean with a cat other than me?" He asks.
