Sazi's ears perked. She was certain she had heard it - a rabbit's shriek. That meant someone was out hunting. Oh, well. They were a decent way away from the mountain. She shrugged it off and kept going, nose to the ground, sniffing furiously. So far she had encountered nothing out of the ordinary. In fact, nothing at all. Apparently no one liked the rain. She could hardly say it was a drizzle, though. She should be taking cover, as well. It was pouring. The clouds were crying their heart and soul into this storm and it wasn't letting up.

OOC: No crime has been committed, as long as you are a human and not a computer, you are allowed to make mistakes.
The rabbit fell limply upon the sodden earth when Farceur released it. His ears were swiveling in every direction. The fur between his shoulders was on end as his mind screamed that he was being watched, though every one of his senses confirmed exactly the opposite. He lowered his head and retrieved his prize, deciding to discover the source of his unease.

Sazi, with her nose on the ground, caught the scent of another dog. A Tokando dog. Compulsively, she veered off course, following the scent. Several times, she had to correct and remind herself that this was not a mission, just a casual walk. She fought the urge to follow it and get into a fight, just to ease the tension in her body. Up ahead, a squirrel bounced on the branches, chittering with annoyance at the rain. Sazi licked her lips. If only she could jump that high or climb trees...

Farceur spotted her. She looked a little worse for the wear and seemed to be "enjoying" the rain as much as he was. He almost spoke. Almost. But she had Zarina written all over her as well as assassin; no other dog walked with such grace and deadly precision. He felt slightly embarrassed himself for being so bedraggled, so he continued to watch and wait. The rabbit's fur tickled the roof of his mouth, so he eased in onto the ground beside him and blinked the rain from his eyes.

Sazi's ear flicked back at the soft sound of fur being placed on the ground. She raised her head and stopped moving. She raised her nose in the air, shook herself, then settled down and kept going on her route, trotting joyfully. Her muscles were loose, her senses were free, and she had no worries. She was living a normal dog's life - as happy as a pet would be going for a ride in a car.
OOC: Sorry for not answering...

OOC: It's all good.
Farceur shook his head and grabbed the rabbit, deciding to trail her. He didn't have much else to do and as long as he stayed on his territory and she stayed on hers, things were golden. Mud squelched from between his pads with every step, splattering the foul substance all over his coat. He shrugged it off even though it meant long hours of grooming. The Zarinian before him seemed at ease, as though a little soaking didn't bother her. Farceur envied her nonchalance.

Sazi was about half way through her walk with approximately two miles left to go. She kept going at the same pace, her tongue lolling out of her mouth. And then she heard squelching in the mud that she was not making. She kept going, pretending to not hear it. She gently lowered her speed until she was only walking. Her ears were pricked and her mouth was closed so she could hear better. And sure enough, she heard the squashing that was in a different pattern. She picked out each of her individual squishing paw-steps and knew that there was someone behind her. She whirled around.

"Whoa there!" Farceur tried to hide his surprise, he didn't do very well. He was never good with hiding things. He lowered his eyes and looked at the ground instead. What a terribly interesting root....It appears to be shaped like a....twisted root. He mentally rolled his eyes at his stupidity and puffed out his chest to appear larger and not so bedraggled. Needless to say, he failed. Miserably.

Sazarinka bared her teeth and puffed her fur, hackles raised and ears laid back. "Who are you?" She looked at the plump rabbit in front of him. How did he manage to catch that? Rabbits were hard to catch, with them being so cautious, and this one was so...fat. Perhaps the weight had slowed the rabbit down. But the dog must be skilled in order to catch it, she granted him that.
