Desertdancer Equids; a species that kept to itself, hidden away in the desert sands ... until now ...

{ about the species ~
Desertdancer Equids are uniquely evolved to best fit their desert home.
They are tall and slim, with thin frames so as to limit heat.
They are light-weighted and walk with a careful, stepping gait, to prevent sinking in the sands.
Desertdancers also have short, soft manes that run halfway down their backs.
Long, gazelle-like horns (larger and sharper in males) are used to pierce cacti and defend from predators.
Males also use their horns to fight for mates.
Desertdancers have long, thin tails tipped with 5 diaphanous, feather-like features.
These are very delicate and easily torn.
They absorb heat from the sun during the day and release it during frigid desert nights.

{ adopting a DDE ~
If a Desertdancer has an "adopt me" sign, chances are it's up for adopt :3
Each one has different rules for adopting, though, so make sure you read through it's post! ^^
As a general rule though, don't add to the form or change it's format unless the DDE's post specifically says you may.
