Jade

Jade watches the fae slip away from Heath, who kicked his foot in his sleep and painted heavily like he were running. She chuckled and one of his ears moved back, but then relaxed.
"What the-" She whispered under her breath as she watched the lioness, slimming away, and then Shadow frozen in place.

Heath

The warmth left his body, an emptiness, it felt, from where he slept next to Shadow. He'd begun to worry, but it's like one of those dreams where you just can't wake up. Something held him there, but he didn't know what.

Shadow

She fluffed up the fur along her spine, making her look like a defensive porcupine. A deep, gutteral snarl erupted from her mouth, her head lowered, pupils dialated. Her ears were flattened to her skull, but she was staring the lioness down, getting no further ahead in the standoff...


Trigo

HE heard fuzzy voices on the outside of his body, but he couldn't wake to hear them properly. Like, hearing someone talkiing to you while you have sand in your ears...

Jade

The lioness looked vicious from Jade's point of view, though Shadow looked just as brutal and defensive. The fae suddenly realized what the loner was doing, what Jade should have been doing, was defending the pack's territory.
She growled under her breath, defensive and full of jealousy. She should be doing that, not Shadow.

Heath

The brute kicked and rolled, expecting to fall onto Shadow, but his breath caught in his throat when he nearly fell off a ridge of sand, only a couple inches of a drop, but he still didn't know that.

Shadow

Just as angry as she was scared, she let her tail droop, and her eyes dart over to Heath and Jade...
"Help?" she whimpered, probably just loud enough to wake anyone sleeping. The lioness made an advance, causing her to back further towards the lake.

Trigo

He still couldn't wake. His eyes felt glued shut, his ears plugged up. He couldn't muster the strenght to even get up, but he felt stress and jealousy radiating off of the fae next to him...

Jade

The fae rushed to her paws, not at the whimpering of Shadow, but at the lioness advancing. It made her feel challenged to see a predator so bold as to do that. The Pack had over eight members, but even they couldn't take down one powerful lioness.
"I'll handle this," she growled, pushing herself in front of Shadow and standing defensively in front of the lioness.

Heath

He opened his eyes, gasping pathetically, and caught himself.
"Huh?" He growled through clenched teeth, embarrassed for being so pathetic, and confused at all of the chaos around him.

Shdow

She flicked her ears forwards and backwards, her eyes wide. She growled, and stood a distance behing Jade, hoping not to make her feel challenged as an alpha... She turned her head towards Heath, still sleeping, as well as Trigo.

Trigo

He felt the presence of the fae leave him, and he snapped awake. His eyes cleared, and the sight of Jade and Shadow staring down a witty lioness brought him bristling to his feet. He pushed his ears and eyebrows down and back, making him appear rather aggressive,, as he stood next to Jade. A gutteral growl rumbled in his belly, and his tail fell limp...

Jade

"What is your purpose here?" Jade said through clenched jaws, spitting the words out and growls erupting from within her chest as the lioness smiled wickedly in response.

Heath

The brute rushed to his paws and darted in the direction, squeezing his way in between Jade and Shadow.
"What's happening?" He whispered to them, eyeing the lioness.

Shadow

"What do you think?" she whispered intensely, gazing nervously into his eyes. "I was just-- Nevermind..." she sighed, feeling like a lowly rank, causing trouble in the pack....


Trigo

He shimmied up to Shadow, his gaze fixed on the lioness, boring holes into her tiny, dark soul. "Geeet. GoONGit!" he snarled, looking buffer, tougher, and rougher than he did calm and happy.

Heath

The brute watched her let out a sigh, nudging her shoulder with his nose.
"Cheer up, Shadow. You didn't do anything wrong,".

Jade

Jade stared at Trigo, eyes widened in fear and amazement. She felt her legs start to move backwards, but then a smirk tugged at the corners of her mouth.
"Leave now," She spoke calmly before approaching the outsider, snarling the words repetitively in her ear and watching the tug of fear and ferocity surround them both. "Leave!" She roared.

Shadow

"Uhuh..." she whimpered, putting on her mean face, and making a defensive, posturing circle around the lioness. She flicked her tail, making a mock charge at the lioness, taunting her in strange ways...

Trigo

He watched Jade, but only for a moment, before snapping at the lionesses flicking tail, wrinkling his nose at the sour scent eminating from the cat. "There ain't nothin' fer ya here, cat! Get outta here, big fatty!" he snarled sarcastically, making a jump over the large feline.
He was positive all of the cackling racket the pack was making, would make the lioness back off. Her eyes widened slightly with a glimmer of what, atleast of his interpretation, seemed like realization.
