Pandora padded through the ferns before her shamefully. She couldn't believe a loner-a loner, mind you-had taken her by surprise. Sure, she had excuses, all of them on the tip of her tongue, but she wasn't about to voice them. Not when, in her heart of hearts, she knew it had been completely and irrevocably her fault. Guilt knotted her stomach and made her wish she hadn't said those awful things to Sarazinka, who couldn't have possibly done anything differently. She broke into a run, streaking forward. But, this time there was no dog nipping at her heels, simply regret.

Raven watched as the two females left, leaving her with the grumpy and bratty Sanity. She grinned at her innocently and got up, padding away. She wanted to right now to go and see if the loner, Day, was okay. She didn't, though. She was just barely a stranger to him and she didn't know how he would react after the small fight. She looked up at the sky, seeing more gray clouds gathering. A storm is brewing... she thought as a raindrop came down and landed on her nose. She sneezed and continued to gaze at the sky, more water droplets falling. She knew that the small bit of rain would fall harder and in bigger numbers. "Let's hope it doesn't flood like it did last time..." she thought as she shot an uneasy glance at the salt water that was coming even a bit closer to shore, the waves crashing harder against the sand.

Sanity rose to her paws, ignoring the loners. She bounded quickly after Sazi and Pandora, unusually just a bit guilty. She frowned, though, trying to hide the guilt inside her. She ignored the rain that fell and new that the Zarinians would be okay, for they are at high level. There was no need to worry about rain. She let out a soft, depressing sigh as she wondered what other quite disasters would come.

OOC: Sorry, I just wanted her to be able to play him ASAP, just in case she wanted to. I figured Zach would be accepted since she'd already been accepted into the group. I'm thinking about making a third character, any ideas on gender, breed, etc...And loner or Takoda?

OOC: I think another male would be nice, seeing as we have barely any males compared to the females. Takoda pack would be good because that pack needs some members. You could choose, though. Also, I think I'll have Raven as a Takoda pack associate.

OOC: I suggest male... but that's just me. It's easier for me to play males. I'm not really sure why, though. Oh, Beauceron!

Dajuan stood, the water was at it's worst during storms. He would leave and travel up to the forest, the one on higher ground. He really hadn't been shaken from the fight, in fact he gave the damage and didn't recieve much in return. If he could get all the loners of Nouveau to unite, they might have a chance of freeing Zarina's slaves. It would be no easy task, though, especially getting a loner to do it. Loners were the only freedom left of Nouveau; plus what would happen if this battle took years to complete?

OOC: Oh my gosh! Do you own one? I have two, Cleopatra and Cobalt and both are Harlequins, that's what your avatar it, isn't it? I can't believe I didn't recognize it....Grrrr.

Sazi longed to go back in the water. It had felt so good, getting cleaner. But she didn't want to be in the midst of all the dogs again. She shrugged and kept walking. She'd get to the southern end soon enough. The Takoda were keeping quiet lately, so there was little need to worry. She wouldn't let her guard down, though.
She trotted on and on until she finally felt sand underneath her paws. She breathed in the salty air, then sneezed. Mountain air was much better for her. She padded happily over to the water, which she noticed was a bit cooler. Because she rarely visited any beach, even in her assassin plans, she had no way of knowing that the difference in temperature and the more wild waves were a warning.

Lukyan followed Sazi weakly, making loud crashing noises often. She must be deep in thought, or she would have turned and killed him on the sound of his first fall. A low growl erupted when he thought that it must be that loner she was thinking about. Funny, how he still considered Sazi his. He shrugged it off and lay down in the brush, watching her take paw-step after paw-step into the water. Didn't she know it was going to flood? She really must be thinking...

Raven let out a sigh and watched the water a bit longer. She looked at the shack, the wind blowing it so hard that it was actually leaning. She knew that the damned thing wouldn't last long, anyways. She just hoped it was strong enough to stand there. It was the mark that divided Takoda territory and the freelands. Well, I'm not sleeping there tonight, she thought as she heard the old wood creaking. She flicked her tail and turned around, walking into the forest. "Foxglove cottage is the best choice." She began to walk towards the small, yet nice abandoned cottage in the woods. Her only hope at the moment was that no other loner or dog had decided to stay there for the night as well.
The foxglove cottage was only just ahead and she could smell the damp wood. The smell of the cottage was sort of soothing at the same time. It was also mingled with the sweet, nature smells of the forest. She knew that the small cottage would hold through the storm, she just wasn't sure about the flood- if there was a flood. She shrugged it off. No need to worry about that now. There was no sure answer on whether there was going to be a flood or not.

OOC: Beaceron? No... It's a Great Dane. I have a mantle Dane pup. I can try to post some pictures of him... His name is Samson, but we call him Sam. He's a little over a year now...
