Nick turned around at the sound of another pair of footsteps entering the foyer. He smiled as he saw Serena hugging Tristan. He quickly walked over to her, pulling Arabella along and then hugged her, before looking down into her eyes. Strange...they're red and puffy... Serena must have been crying, perhaps she already knows Aiden is dead? But who could have told her that? It definitely wasn't Tristan or me. Could it be Kaleb? But how does he know Serena?" Nick frowned. "Serena, are you okay?" He whispered.

'And when we are back out there, you have to be the princess you always are. Brave, confident, sweet Princess Serena.' Kaleb's words repeated in her mind. It was the biggest reason she hadn't burst out crying again. Because she knew KC was right, and didn't want to disappoint him. She nodded. "I'm quite okay, despite the current events." she replied softly to Nick, hugging him back tightly.

Hugging Serena again, Nick smiled sadly. Serena did know already and perhaps Nick was just overthinking it all. Prince Kaleb might have just told Serena when he saw her in the palace. He pulled back and cupped her face, "Stay strong Rena, we four siblings will get through this althogether," he said quietly. He gestured for Arabella to come over. "Well, I suppose I parents might've already gone ahead to the conference room and be seated already. We should go ourselves." Nick turned towards Arabella, "Wait a little moment Lizzie and all will become clear. Now all of you, put on a smile when we enter the conference room and no bickering." Nick smiled at all of them.

(Sorry Bree-Chan, but I believe that the Avalon princesses have all been taken. The front page is misleading as Shade. hasn't been here for a long time and did not update it. I am not entirely sure which characters are free but we do have a few, no royals are unfortunately.)

~Arabella, Princess of Elyadon~

Arabella returned Nick's embrace; she was always happy to have him backing her up when things got bad with Tristan. She looked at her bow and quiver once more. "Like I said, I was told it was an emergency," she repeated. "I figured it might be useful should I encounter any hostility from anyone." She looked at her sister as she came into the room, her eyes red. She's been crying, she thought. "Something's gone terribly wrong," she said aloud, holding two fingers to her mouth. Nick said we four siblings. But there are five of us... she thought fear beginning to cloud her vision. "Nick, what happened? Where's Aiden?"

Taking note of Nick's pressing gaze, Tristan merely shot a frigid glance at Arabella before turning to hug his oldest sister. Out of all of the girls in the entire world, his sister had to be dressed in breeches, which were not only immodest but were also against every one of the etiquette rules he was sure her governess had drilled into her. While passing through the halls of their home, Tristan often heard the older woman screaming at his sister in frustration about proper etiquette. She would surely faint if she saw the princess now, in this attire.

Nodding at Serena, he supposed that KC had gotten to her before they could, based on her puffy eyes and how she glanced around. He ignored Arabella's ignorance to Aiden's absence and was quite surprised when she finally figured it out. The prince raised his eyesbrows, half in disgust, but said nothing, turning into the conference room.

It could barely be described as a "room". The ceiling lofted high above them, cupids and pastel clouds floating about. There was one window, its frame carved into roses and columns. Based on the soft light that emanated from the glass, Tristan guessed it was around sunrise. As he glanced around the cavernous space, he took quick note of his parents' presence. They sat in throne-like seats, the stained wood carved into the heads of lions at the armrests. They raised worried heads, looking over at their children who slowly filed into the room. Mother fidgeted anxiously with her dress, a habit she hated about herself. Although she looked quite distraught, their father kept his cool presence and simply gripped the armrests tightly.

{ Also, I'm not sure where the Avalon princes and princesses have gone.. I'll be sending out a few reminders to them. Hopefully they'll reply soon.

Crystal/ Maid/ Elaydon

Crystal soon woke from her sleep, she got up and changed, she slipped on her shoes and went down the stairs. She got her bow and arrows, then went out, she walked down the path and cut some apples down from a tree, by shooting the arrow just above their tops. She gathered them and returned to the castle to make some food. She hummed happily and thought about Alexander, "He is going to love this!" She said "Love whot?" The head maid asked, Crystal swallowed "Uh, one of the horses miss" she answered and walked away quickly. Afyer she prepared a meal she put them in a basket and a blanket to sit on. Then Crystal went up to her room and put on a white dress.

Arabella followed her sister and Tristan into the conference room, hanging back a bit so she and Nick could hear one another. She refused to smile as Nick requested, however, until her questions were answered and she was fully satisfied. She tried to imagine her mother's horror at her wearing breeches, but she quickly found that she didn't care what her parents, or her siblings, thought anymore. This is the last straw, she thought, crossing her arms and leaning against one of the walls in the conference room. Her dark thoughts returned. No one's answered anything I've asked and Tristan is being an absolute pig once again. If they make my life hard, I can make theirs just as difficult.

Serena sighed softly and nodded in respond to Nick, before following her brothers into the room. She put on the small smile she had faked so often, gazing around the room to see her mother being worried and her father trying to stay calm. The girl watched her slightly younger sister leaning against the wall in men's clothes. Serena walked over to her and took off her own dark blue cloak, wrapping it around her sister's shoulders so she looked a bit lady-like at least. The eldest princess grabbed her sister's hands and held them in hers, smiling sadly at her. "I know it might seem like you are being ignored, but we all love and care about you." she told her sister, putting some of Arabella's hair back behind her ear. "Sometimes you have to wait before you get answers. I would love to tell you right now, but I simply can't, yet." she whispered. "Just come sit with me next to mother. I need you right now, and there's a chance you need me or one of our brothers as well soon."
