Jody made her way back into the old wing, scaling the graffitied walls, her hands gouging out chunks of the structure as though it were cheese. She pulled herself up onto the bar and stepped across, ducking to avoid the hole. Realising that she had neglected her mask, she pulled it up and over her face, before crawling across the beam, upside down. She no longer felt like the monster she was, and she didn't know if she liked it. These people were different to the nurses, and she again was bemused. Unlatching her legs, she fell to the floor, staring around.
Once those people were in the old wing she would revert back to herself, surely. She took up a hunk of black stone, and walked to a free space on the wall.
'Change me not, little boys, ugly girls,
Do not mock me, and wait,
Wait as the story unfurls,
Dance like a princess and see,
See just what you're doing to me.
I wish not to change,
My dead soul must remain,
You'll the pain,
As dawn brings the new day'.
