Thornpaw stopped in his tracks, seeing Tinypaw depart from Addperpaw. He followed her until he got side by side with her. "I'm sorry for being fox-brained, I just was mad that Adderpaw brought you here, and you almost were fataly injured. I didn't want to lose you."

[despairz]

Adderpaw frowns, "I was just kidding." He mews and turns around, padding back to Snake rocks. He curls up under a bush in the clearing, hearing the adders follow him and hiss. Adderpaw hisses back and hears them fall silent, then start hissing again. Adderpaw growls, they fall silent and don't return to their hissing, instead they slither away and back to the rocks. "Why doesn't anyone like me?" He sniffles and curls himself until he can't anymore.

"I know you both like me. And it's not fair!" She sighed. "I'm not even a warrior yet and I already got toms chasing me up a tree..." Her voice trailed off.

[despairz]

One very large adder comes out and hisses, but Adderpaw snarls and spits, making it go backwards. He growls louder and snarls, spitting again. It was afraid of him. He growls and snarls, baring his teeth. It hisses back at him and slides back into snake-rocks. "Stupid snakes!" He snarls and races away, sitting above the gorge and looking over. A large, deep river ran down the gorge.

[.Yin.]

"I-I want to be alone..." Tinypaw sighed, slinking off. She kept walking until she was three fox-lengths from Adderpaw. She backed up.

[despairz]

Adderpaw snarls at the adders who followed him. He hisses at them and they make a sound almost like a squeal. He growls, "That's right pipsqueaks." He looks back over and flops down, resting his head on his paws.

Firestorm licks Rainpelt's ears and nuzzles her.

Thornpaw accepted this and nodded, padding away from Tinypaw. "We can get together sometime, but in the meantime, I will learn to cope with Adderpaw."

Tinypaw raised her paw, and made up her mind. She decided to walk over to him. "How's the leader of the adders going?" She smiled.

[despairz]

"I'm obviously not the king of the adders." Adderpaw mutters and turns so she can't see his face. "Shouldn't you being hanging out with Thornpaw? He might get mad that we're talking." He murrers, not meaning to be so mean. He grits his teeth and hisses at another adder.

"Thornpaw isn't my guardian or something." She growled. "I didn't do anything to you. Watch it." She snapped.
