I read a book written in second form. It was actually a letter to her captor. I'd love to do a rp based on the plot because I fell in love with the couple and...just everything. ouo

I want it to have another book in the series so I can see what happened between them and everything ;n;

hello you all! So, I am writing a story about a 'perfect' world, where nothing is wrong. if you harm another, you are erased from existence. in the middle of all this, there's a murder--or rather, a suicide act, as it seems. but the person that supposedly committed suicide is a confident, independent person, and almost no one can believe that she did it. and everyone realizes--she didn't. the perfect world's computers have been manipulated, and everyone is in danger.

carrie, writing probably will help you. C: for me it helps. maybe listening to some music?

The story idea and stuff is right here if you want to read, I don't want to clog up the thread with a bunch of text and pictures c:

I hope everything will get better too <3 . I definitely have been missing writing, so I think its good for me to start writing again c:

@silverfrost
I hope so! I just have to get my full muse back, and remember all my ideas for chapters and stuff P:
I think i'll try listening to music, it helps me get my muse for drawing so maybe it will help for writing!

I have insane writer's block >.< I haven't touched my novel in over a week.

Not to mention some family stuff come up, so I can't join a roleplay that I really wanted to.
Looking for all 2010 staff litter dogs. Will possibly overpay.

Oh my gosh, I would so buy that if it was in a book store, the plot sounds awesome.<3
If you have written anything, please give me a link! I want to, no, I must read it!
I'd love a roleplay with this sort of plot too.

Is it bad that when I recently read Alexander/ra for the first time, at the ending...I laughed?
I wasn't sad at all, I just laughed.
(maybe it's because I was so happy that for once, someone didn't pretty that sort of thing up, and I felt like hugging and kissing asian if I could because the story had such a fantastic ending)

Username: Electra Heart
Nickname: Electra
Writing Preferences: Novels I guess
Example: It all started on a warm summer night. I was in the dining hall, but it was no longer usable. Fits of rage had reduced the curtains to tatters, and the layers of dust didn’t improve matters. The broken heaps of furniture made it impassible for any human. At the center of the whole mess was the source of my misfortune- a silver dagger, sitting on a velvet cushion. Even though no one had ever polished or cleaned it, it still glinted as brightly as it had the day I was transformed. The only thing marring it’s perfect surface were three drops of bright red blood- the blood of my father. (is this long enough??)

Username: Liddi
Nickname: none unless you want to give me one
Writing Preferences: Poetry, novels, short stories, role-playing... pretty much everything.
Example:
here's a poem wrote:
      Ozone

I woke up during a hurricane.
The leaves missing from the trees,
      the New York tourists—
      I imagine them taking pictures
      of barren branches,
      exiled from Manhattan unwillingly
for the first time in their lives.
Autumn leaves are supposed to remind me
      of dying. Instead
it says, casually, how I always remember things
      that were on fire.

      On a plane,
I am holding my own hands
and unable to remember the first time
I saw this flight attendant’s face,
the first time I walked through city streets
unable to believe they would fall.
      But sinkholes and hurricanes
      have proved me wrong,
like the calculating smile of a woman—
      leaning closer to my face.
      I am unable to determine
      which name she is whispering,
what the ending of a story is
when all the bad parts are gone.

      Girls from Poughkeepsie skip rope
      and classes,
      their bridges underwater.
      They bought so much water,
shelves barren as a new moon sky,
      and now it kills them,
sweeps their bodies away in a storm.
      At home,
I feel the static of heat lightning in my bones
      wonder where I would be

      without the smell of ozone,
without the last plane out of Stewart airport.

      What about the people
      tying themselves to beaches,
      seaweed coiled around their ankles,
in the basements of flooded apartment buildings,
supposed to be refusing to leave?
As they sit on rooftops I imagine no airplanes
      flying for them. What
if they don’t want to stay,
daring the roof to disappear beneath them?
      With finality, the buses are shutting down;
only their skeletons line the streets
and the subway can’t breathe underwater.

      I think they are running.
Take refuge in the empire state building,
on the stairs leading up to the crown
      of the statue of liberty.
I heard that no one is allowed there
anymore. But if you leave last,
standing alone in a jungle of empty skyscrapers,
      puddles for shoes,
      who can stop you?

      The tides pull sandbags
      away from three hundred
      years of history,
      holding its breath.
      For how long?
      A new moon eating
      the city like a cannibal,
      sustained low pressure forcing
you to exhale before you inhale
      the smell of gum-printed tarmac
      after a storm—

      the city that never sleeps
      rests its eyes.

here's a roleplay post wrote:
The hopeless look on Seth’s face was replaced by one of confusion when the cougar opened his bright blue eyes and nodded his head. Seth was forced to admit to himself that he was definitely losing it, and that a wild animal would not make the kind of human gesture that he was attributing to it, but there was no denying that something was going on. The man had not moved his gaze away from the animal’s eyes so he saw when the great head reached toward him.

For a moment Seth was frightened that the animal would bite him but the body language that was being expressed didn’t really substantiate that idea. Instead, Seth flinched as a large pink tongue lapped at his knee, the surface rough and pulling on his skin much like the tongue of a house cat would, if house cats were ever that affectionate. Seth hadn’t owned very many cats, preferring dogs, but he was surprised to note that this supposed ferocious beast was acting a lot nicer than the domestic cats he had been in the company of. He almost laughed, but the situation was too surreal for him to feel like it was actually happening.

Finally, while he was still considering the implications of the animal’s actions, the smooth fur of its tail once again reached up and brushed his chin. Seth felt like he was in a strange dream, and considered for a moment that the cougar could be a mirage, or that he could be passed out in the clearing, dehydrated. He knew that neither of those scenarios were really feasible, however, and that he was most likely actually communicating with an injured cougar, albeit non-verbally. He examined the animal again, feeling a sympathetic tug in his chest when a sound of pain escaped its jaws and it collapsed back into the dirt. However else he felt Seth was sure that there would be no more fight from the big cat, and that he had probably used up the last of his adrenaline.

Seth surveyed the body before him, estimating that the cougar had to weigh over a hundred pounds, if not more. He thought back to the bench press record he had held in high school and the toned body that he had once claimed, wishing it was still his. Despite his apathy in the past years he was still muscular, but he doubted that he would be able to carry the cougar home. Doubts invaded his mind but he pushed them away, determined to complete the task he had set for himself. He quickly shoved the strewn contents of his pack back inside and zipped it up, shouldering it out of the way.

A hand that had been stroking the animal’s fur went to circle its chest, the other behind its back legs to hold them steady. Drawing on the training he had from his weightlifting years, Seth hefted with the strength in his legs and stood from the crouch he had held on the ground. He grunted, the effort exhausting, but the animal seemed to make no protest and he was careful not to bump the injury. Now that he was standing it didn’t seem like the task would be too hard, but he knew that he was an hours hike from home.

The underbrush tore against his calves in a way that made him think that it was purposefully taunting him. He had been walking for less than fifteen minutes and he could already feel the strain in his arms and back like fire, reminding him how out of shape he was. Up ahead he saw the stream that he had passed earlier in the day and decided to stop and rest. Kneeling to the ground he carefully set the animal down, hoping that it would awaken and take a much needed drink from the stream. He sat back against a rock on the bank, slowly stretching his arm muscles and enjoying the sun that cut through the trees along with the cool breeze that surrounded the stream.
