As I exhaled, I let out a genuine laugh and pressed my nose against Chimera's briefly. "I'm not leader yet, though. I have to receive my nine lives from StarClan. But before that, I have to find a spot for our camp and gather cats to join us," I explained with a smile. "Then we'd have ceremonies and give everyone new names; Clan names."

"That sounds great." Chimera purred. "How easy is it to gather cats?" She asked curiously.

"Not very," I admitted. "Clan life isn't suitable for all cats. By the way, will you change your name, or are you keeping Chimera?" My voice grew lighter, more curious. Changing names wasn't an easy decision, but it proved devotion. I was just more curious than ever.

Chimera nodded. "Of course I would. Wouldn't be the first time." She would do anything to fit in with the Clan cats, especially her new friend.

I blinked, then purred warmly. "Alright then. Lets go recruit some cats."

Chimera looked around. "Would we have to go back to your original Clan? Perhaps some would join you from there." She suggested.

I thought for a moment, then nodded. "Alright." I headed off in the direction of SnowClan, silently flooded with dread at the thought of catching even a single glimpse of my mother while I was there.

Chimera followed him, wondering what the Clan would be like. She could tell something was making Raggedclaw uneasy, but couldn't figure out what.
