Tyler nodded, smiling softly as she asked about his name. "My name is Tyler. Tyler Black." he replied, starting to head towards the stables with her. He remained silent and kept a close eye on the princess, knowing it was his duty to protect her now.

"Tyler," Arabella repeated with a smile, as she pulled open the stable doors. She walked down the long aisle, and stopped in front of one door. Grabbing a saddle and bridle, she opened the door. A sleepy-eyed bay head poked out and stood graciously as she tacked up her mare. Soon she lead the horse down the aisle to where Tyler was. "I'm ready when you are," she said, rubbing her mare's face gently.

Tyler nodded again, walking back to his horse and getting on it, looking at the other knight before he rode to the left side of the princess, so she was protected at both sides. "I'm ready." he replied, before the three of them rode back to Avalon.

Arabella sat quietly in her saddle as they rode back to Avalon. Her mind was far too busy for her to speak anyways. Her mind raced thinking of what could be so important that her whole family needed to gather in Avalon just after the Harvest? Nick mentioned he hadn't seen Aiden, she thought. Could that be it? She looked up and caught the view of the castle once again. "Do you know what rooms my siblings are in?" she asked Tyler. "I'd like to find out what's going on."

Opening his eyes, Nick stared out the window. After resting his eyes for a while, he felt much better but was still tired. He just wanted to go back to Elyadon and sleep for a long time, but that wouldn't be possible. He stretched and then sat upright before getting off the bed. Nick walked out the room and then knocked on Tristan's door. "Tristan, have you finished yet? It's still a bit early to go to the conference but I would like to make sure our parents and sisters have arrived. Would you mind coming with me downstairs to see if they have arrived?" He yawned and then blinked a few times, widening his eyes. Nick just hoped that he would be able to stay awake through the entire meeting.

Arabella swung down from her mare's saddle and looked up at the many windows of the Avalon castle, knowing that her family was all in there. She squinted her eyes trying to see one of her brother's silhouette's in the window, but to no avail. She turned and looked up at the night sky, fading slowly from the dark blue of night to the purples and pinks of the very early morning.

Turning his head at the sound of his brother's voice, the prince stepped towards the door and opened it. "I wouldn't mind at all. They should be here very soon, if they have not already arrived." he said, going back into the room to grab his belt. As he closed the door and began down the hall, the prince buckled his belt and made sure his sword and its sheath were attached properly. Tristan rarely went anywhere without his silver blade. "Shall we check the foyer first then?" he asked, taking a turn farther down the hall. As he descended down the wide marble staircase, his footsteps echoed down the hall behind him. "Arabella," he said, coming to stop at the end of the stairs. "What in heaven's name are you wearing?" he asked, quite shocked. There his sister stood, dressed in men's clothes. Not appropriate for the occasion.

"I was told it was an emergency," she replied, staring coldly at him. I can play this game too Tristan, she thought. "I didn't exactly have time to get myself all dolled up. So this was what I picked. Besides, it's hard to shoot in a dress." Her quiver was still draped over her shoulder, on top of the thick coat she was wearing. She looked to Nick, trying to find some kind of support for her arguments. "So why don't we stop fighting about appearances and you just tell me what happened that was so important that we all had to come back to Avalon instead of sleeping?" she quipped still holding his gaze.

Walking down the hall, Nick followed his brother towards the foyer, as suggested. He trailed after Tristan down the marble staircase and nearly bumped into Tristan. Nick stepped from behind Tristan to see what had caused his brother to stop so suddenly. He nearly laughed at the sight of his sister in men's clothes, covering his mouth with his hand to trap any sounds that may have escaped.

Nick placed a hand on Tristan's shoulder to tell him not to say anything else and then walked over to Arabella. After pulling her into a hug, he smiled at her gently. "Now, don't be too upset Lizzie, you know how Tristan is. But whatever are the bow and arrows for? We are not heading into a battle, just a meeting." Nick shut his mouth to refrain himself from saying anything else. Arabella would find out in due time what had happened. Nick turned and shot a look at Tristan, making sure Arabella couldn't see it, warning him of telling her anything before the meeting.

Serena soon walked around a corner, only to see her siblings on a few feet away from her. Serena bit her lip as she walked towards them, her eyes still red. She ignored the fact her sister was wearing men's clothes. She didn't feel like another fight with her today. Serena walked over to Tristan and gave him a quick hug. "I'm glad at least you and Nick are alright." she whispered softly, not knowing if Arabella already knew about Aiden. She soon released her brother and looked at Nick and Arabella, insecure what to do at the moment.
