Inferno winced and backed up at the needle. "I feel fine. That fruit is sick.I could not eat a thing. Just the smell of this place makes me sick." It reminded him of the cavalry and being stuck in a barn with seventy others. The stallion took it from her and just held it. He stared at the humans, eyes dark. This he would not take. It made him feel only worse. Being here. His stomach did not ask for food so he spit the fruit out on the ground and pulled his ears back. He pawed at the stall door, looking longingly outside to the trees. Besides the forlorn gaze he had he was looking better. He did not have a bad case, and resting for a short time helped. His pelt and hair were no longer messy and dull. Now he just wanted out to really feel better.

Cloud He looked at her "Well i was taught it was the stallions fault. Well i hope it does not continue when he gets back" he said to her. He walked into the cave, and heard light breathing. "stephano?" he called taking a guess "i have your mother here with me, dont be scared" he said

[kay.]

((Argh, time differences.))

Lucky turned around to Cloud, shrugging in a puzzled manner. "Something's in there." He replied, not 100% sure about what Cloud was talking about. Cautiously, Lucky followed Cloud inside the miniture, dark cave. He nickered softly and quietly, to sound gentle if the colt was in there. The horse trotted slightly forward, so his and Cloud's shoulders just about touched. A tiny foal was in front of them. Lightly touching Cloud's nose, Lucky asked, "Should I get his mother?"

Stephano shivered, tear stains all over his soft face. "M..Mommy" he silently sobbed. His ears laid back and curled into a small scared ball, Nightingale rushed foward, taking Stephano into her hooves. She cooed softly, hearing the small sobs turn into light litle hiccups.

Iris sighed quietly. She shook her head and flicked her tail. She turned to Scott and Amanda who where talking quietly. Iris perked her ears as she heard them. "He seems to be fine now. I think he just needs some fresh air." Amanda said. Scott nodded quietly and walked towards the stall door. He gave a small sigh. He wanted to keep Iris until she was back to full health, but he knew it was the best. He sighed and unlatched the stall door. He stepped inside and leaned down. He slowly unwrapped her hock. It had a large scab, but she could walk on it. After throwing the gauze and wrap out of the stall Scott talked to the stable hands about opening the main gate. They ran out, and it was soon open. Scott smiled feebly and opened the stall door moving out of the way. Delight surged through Iris and she was about to zoom out, but something caught her eye. A little girl. She was 5 maybe 6; but she had visited Iris ever since she first came. She was crying. Iris stepped forward towards the little girl and nuzzled her quietly. Sniffling, the girl reached her arms over Iris's neck. After the girl released her grip, Iris turned to Inferno and nickered quietly.

Inferno began excidedly pacing in the stall and bounded out the door with an excited buck. He watched her with the little girl and nickered to Iris. Running around Iris he nosed her happily to come and raced for the trees, a loud neigh erupting from him every now and then in search of Night, Stephano and Dancer. As he neared the cave he paused to look and wait for Iris. No one was around here... Before panicking he would see if he could get on the trail. Inferno whinnied.

Iris squealed in delight as she cantered after Inferno. She laughed and shook out her mane. Her belly heavy she smiled and nuzzled it. She enjoyed feeling the wind in her mane blowing her forelock out of her emerald green eyes. She felt a pang of worry surge through her for Night and Stephano. She pressed her round belly against Inferno as she reached him. Her eyes flicked across the cave. She let out a small whinny into the cave. Iris heard its sweet melodic tone echo; but no reply came.

Stephano stayed under Nightingale as they walked, the foal never really understanding why she was contemplating the idea of leaving the herd. Saying that he may understand when he gets older..the colt looked up at his mom, her worried and sadden face making his playful smile drop. He poked his nose to hers, Nightingale looked down at the colt..giving him a soft muzzle as she walked behind Cloud as they led them back. The mare sighed...the whole thing was her fault..and no amount of denial could erase that painful truth. She was the reason that infuriated Iris to the point of a injury..shewas the enemy.

cloud He gently nuzzled night "it will be ok" he said softly to her. He smiled at lucky "I dont know what i would do without you, you found stephano" he praised the young stallion. He heard Infernos call and he whinnyed back to suow him where they were. He walked out of the cave up to feather. He nuzzled her "i love you" he whispered in her ear.

Inferno heard Cloud and snorted. Shaking his head he still followed it. Pausing he beckoned Iris and trotted off, footsteps high. The lovely scent of Night and familiar smell of a young one he grinned and moved faster. Soon the beloved shire appeared. "Night!" Inferno sighed with relief and rushed toward her. Lying his head happily across her back he grinned in contentment. Dancer had to be somewhere around here too. His eyes turned towards Stephano a moment with a nicker.
