The truth of the matter is,I'm desperately trying to find
my way out of this labyrinth,
but can't seem to find the light.
I need to know that I was meant
for something bigger than this
average mundane life.

Your faith was strong but you needed proof.
You saw her bathing on the roof;
Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew you.
She tied you to her kitchen chair,
She broke your throne, she cut your hair;
And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah.
Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah...
Baby I've been here before,
I've seen this room and I've walked this floor.
I used to live alone before I knew you.
And I've seen your flag on the marble arch,
and love is not a victory march;
It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah.- 'Hallelujah' ; Rufus Wainwright juliet wrote:“ My bounty is as вσυη∂ℓєѕѕ as the SEA,

↓---------------↓---------------↓ meet colfax. born and raised in upstate new york, this brute has used his agility to help him become one of the best scavengers the pack has seen. thoughtless and impulsive are two words that cannot describe him; level-headed and reliable fit the bill just right, if you ask me. it's hard to believe that he's only fiveyears old. his careful disposition makes him seem wise beyond his years. the pack taught him to value his life by facing fate head on and to never be held down by anger or sorrow. love is important when you're a guy like him - the only dog who's caught his attention is unknown.

WESLEY FITZGERALD
and then my soul saw you and it kind of went,
"OH. THERE YOU ARE. I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR YOU."
-------she came out of nowhere, streaking through my sky like a burning comet going one million miles per hour. she left just as quickly. not many people remember her; just me, and that makes me hurt more than any physical injury ever could. someone like her ought to be remembered.
-------she came near the beginning of september, junior year. she went unnoticed. she was in my english class, on the opposite side of the room; the way the desks were arranged, we were directly across from one another. after the class she was out of my mind as fast as the lesson was. i didn't think about her for a week. every day i sat across from her and i never noticed her. honestly speaking, she wasn't very noticeable in the first place. she wasn't your typical vision of beauty - she was fairly plain looking and obviously overweight. most of the time she was silent in class. her grades weren't fantastic and she didn't seem to have very many friends; yes, she wasn't very noticeable to begin with. on occasion i'd look up and catch her gaze but she'd look down in a hurry and i'd forget it happened. at times i'd look up and see her absently doodling on her paper or writing furiously. i forgot those times, too. my friends would whisper to me after football practice about how she slipped and fell on the grass after it rained and how they caught a sight of her exposed stomach - how it looked as she hit the ground. i laughed and forgot. the first week she was in my life i forgot all about her.
-------it was the next monday when the time came to do a class project in english. our teacher put us in small groups to put together a skit using dialogue from shakespeare's romeo and juliet - any scene we chose, as long as everybody had a part. in my group there were two girls and another guy. she was in my group. sadie, the other girl, was pretty; i knew her fairly well since she often hung around my group of friends. instantly sadie vied for the part speaking for juliet during the balcony scene to which the group agreed without much thought. garret - the other guy - wanted any part but romeo, so the part was given to me. garret took the role of the mercutio, leaving her with the role of the nurse - something she didn't seem to be bothered by. we ran over the dialogue first, simply so we'd be able to pronounce the words correctly. everything was running smoothly until sadie came across a foreign word, her speech faltering until all was silent. then she slid in, offering the correct pronunciation and reciting the line herself with such a confidence that left sadie speechless. sadie had no such passion as she did in her delivery, no flow or finality the way she did. that said, she was given the part immediately. none of us wanted our grades to suffer due to a poor performance. i'd never seen her smile the way she smiled then, and it surprised me a little. it made her human - gave her a warmth that hadn't been there before. deep down inside i was happy that she was juliet. it made me happy that she was happy and that was something i'd never expected to feel. without knowing it, i was changing. a change from which i'd never return.
-------on friday of the second week we all met up in her basement to rehearse the scene. as we all sat around goofing off, i began to notice some things i'd never noticed before about her. she was smart - smarter then i'd thought. she could come up with the wittiest things to say without any effort and knew little things about everything. she was observant, too. she caught the smallest things with those eyes of hers. whenever her gaze landed on me i wanted to sit up straighter and stand with more confidence, though i never preformed the act; it was just a mere pinprick in the back of my mind constantly urging me to do just that. she wasn't afraid to eat, either, unlike sadie. as soon as she went up the stairs to grab a soda from her fridge sadie was whispering comments on how disgusting it was that she ate three slices of the pizza without blinking. garret joined in by adding that she'd eaten half the bag of m&m's beforehand as well. these comments bothered me. i wanted to stand up and defend her; to protect this girl who wasn't able to protect herself. i never got the chance. as i was building up the nerve to speak my mind we were interrupted by a sob coming from the top of the stairs descending into the basement. she'd heard everything. sadie and garret took no time to excuse themselves and leave, but i couldn't bring myself to do the same. i couldn't leave the girl that had just heard some of the cruelest things one could hear. i couldn't leave the girl that i didn't have the courage to protect. but before i could say anything she was gone. i suppose she ran up to her room, but all i remember is being alone in her basement with guilt and shame crushing me. i left after that, but i couldn't remember much else. all i could think about was the look on her face.
-------monday of the third week was the day we were scheduled to perform the scene. as soon as the group gathered together for any last-minute notes sadie turned bright red as she approached from behind the embarrassed girl slowly. she was silent and steely-eyed, much to sadie's and my despair. she was silent but professional - this grade meant a lot to her, as it did to all of us. we performed the skit like we'd practiced, but her smile was tight and her jaw clenched. she never looked me in my eyes. i couldn't blame her. after we were finished and seated i couldn't help but sneak a peek at her from across the room. i wanted to apologize for what she'd heard - for not defending her. she wasn't looking at me; no, she was paying attention the scene that was being performed before us. for the rest of the class i was thinking of ways to catch her alone, without the prying eyes of my friends catching me. though i couldn't admit it out loud, i didn't want my friends to see me talking to her. this made me sick to my stomach. why didn't i want to be seen with her? did i care about my image so much that i couldn't risk being seen with the victim of all my friend's jokes? this troubled me. after the final scene for the day was over, the bell rang and everybody began to pour out of the classroom. i held back at the door, knowing that this would be one of my only chances to catch her. she was one of the last out of the room, her backpack slung across her back hastily. wip
