"Yes a camp." Softfeather snapped, glaring at Axel. "Do you want to come or not? Chose wisely." She took a larger step towards the tom, lashing her tail and slight unseating her claws. She was growing bored and slightly restless as she waited to get on her way once again.

ReedLeap saw a mixture of sadness, pain, and anger pass through the she-cat's eyes. He blinked thoughtfully."You know I wasn't born a StreamClan cat? I was born a rouge. My family abandoned me because I was different. You know why I was different? Because I was me, and I was proud to be me. They hated that...." He chuckled. "But I didn't care."

Whistleblade blinked, tilting her head. "I was born...a Kittypet. I sort of ran off after I was..r-roughly the age of an Apprentice, maybe younger. I..w-well..I didn't have a very gentle life there, in the..the Twoleg-place." A vague flickering of pain crossed her eyes, but she pushed it away. "I got chased, bullied, I fought and was beaten, I..." she sighed again, glancing off into the trees, looking at nothing. Her claws slid out for a moment as she paused, then back in. "..well, yeah..I had a rough time of it.."

Whistleblade blinked at him, her head slightly tilted. "Th-thank you, Reedleap" She managed to mew. H-he's... completely different than...than them... The thin she-cat's eyes glinted with pale fading sunlight, making them sparkle. Is..is this what Clan-cats do? Are they..so..so....wonderful? She felt a faint blush rise on her face and tried to suppress it What...what's this feeling? Like..like there are birds flapping in my chest...

ReedLeap licked his chest fur, suddenly self-conscious and slightly embarrassed. "So....What do you want to do next?" He asked casually. He gazed into WhistleBlade's eyes and realized that his breath had stopped in his chest. What was this? This....feeling? It made him feel stupid and clumsy suddenly around the pretty she-cat. So, what do you want to do next? Is that all you can say now mouse-brain? He cursed at himself.

Whistleblade stood up, her tail curling slightly. "W-we could go...fish?" The she-cat was hyper-aware of her actions as she pawed toward the river, which was not to far off. I still feel so..so... She thought for a moment as she walked, trying to place the feeling. So warm and fuzzy..but..nervous...what do I fear? I don't know.. Her short fur was dappled by the pale No-Leaf sunlight, almost making her appear to glow.

"Yes.....Fishing." He agreed as he followed her. He admired how the sun made her pelt appear to glow. ReedLeap smiled to himself, feeling as light as a feather. WhistleBlade made him feel special, and he liked that. But that wasn't the only thing he liked...Oh StarClan! Could it be? Was he in love with her?

Whistleblade stopped when they came close to the river. The feline peered over the edge, her eyes reflecting the sparkling waters. She watched for a moment, then darted her paw in a flash aimed at a shadow in the water. Her movement was swift and liquid as she brought her paw in an arc and slapped the paw down on the earth, hard. The fish flapped once and was still. She looked up at Reedleap, a flicker of cautious hope in her eyes. Maybe he really is..is nice...deep down... I didn't know anyone could be so wonderful The feeling was overpowering, as if she would burst.

ReedLeap smiled at he watched her scoop out a fish. When she turned around and faced him, he found himself locked into her gaze, admiring her beautiful clear eyes. He scuffles his paws and looked away. "Er- Um-...Nice catch!" Nice Catch! I hate myself now. Tell her something she doesn't know!

Like what though? That he liked her?.... No. What if she didn't feel the same way? Everything would be ruined.

Whistleblade blushed, glancing down. She twiddled her feet a little bit "It wasn't that great..I bet you could do better." A faint light shone in her eyes, and she almost added a teasing comment. It occurred to her that it was an odd thing to say, however, and she stifled it. The small she-cat poked the fish with the edge of her paw, unsure if what to say and second guessing herself.
