"Oh," Arabella said with a smile, happy she hadn't offended him in any way. "Let's head home, Crystal. I had a good night but I am very tired from so much dancing." She followed her friend out the door and into the night. "Do you think we'll be able to come again?" she asked looking around for the horses.

Crystal grabbed a rein from the horses that the man brang up for her. She got on her horse "Oh? i see , thats wonderful" she said. SHe smiled at Arabella and held the reins to her horse "You want to come back?" she asked curiously, she smirked.

Ah, still a boy then." Fernia said, as a few of the younger nurses giggled. "Well, I'll just have to stitch it up. Theresa," she said, snapping her fingers at the girl behind the cart. The young nurse came forward, handing the superior woman a needle with a thin strand of thread. "Ah, here we are. This may pinch." Fernia stuck the needle through Nick's flesh, weaving back and forth until the wound had been sewn shut. She tied it off at the end, took the scissors that Theresa offered, and snipped the ends off. "There you go, my boy. Now, be sure not to sleep on that side, and wash it regularly." she explained. "And you," she said, turning to Tristan. "Good heavens lad, the both of you should get washed immediately. You reek of blood and dirt!" At this, the group of young nurses behind them snickered. "And be sure not to hit so hard with your sword next time." she reprimanded, as if he weren't a prince. Tristan bowed to the woman, smirking despite the unpleasant circumstances.

"But of course, my lady." he said, pulling Nick off the cot. "Thank you for your service. We should take our leave then." He waved good bye to the nurses and exited the wide doors of the infirmary.

"Now those are lads you girls should get to know!" Fernia called out after them, causing the whole gaggle of women to roar in laughter.

Nick winced as Fernia stitched up his wound, looking ahead at Tristan. He nodded as the older nurse told him about the precautions he had to take. It was not the first time Nick had received a deep wound, even though he spent most of his time caged up in the palace, there were several times he had been able to go out and about. Once she was done, he slipped his tattered shirt back on and grabbed the cloak. Nick listened half-heartedly and then smiled as he heard Fernia tell them off for their appearance and presentation... what he would give to have a bath now. Nick chuckled as Tristan pulled him up as soon as Fernia stopped talking, as if he was slightly impatient to leave the infirmary. "Thank you." He yelled as the two princes exited the infirmary.

They walked along the corridor and Nick turned towards Tristan. "My dear brother, shall we request two guest rooms for ourselves? I am quite looking forward to having a bath and now would be a good time. I doubt we will be going home tonight after this... situation." Nick fell silent as the subject of Aiden's death was brought up once more, maybe in different context, but the message was clear. Nick sighed, he doubted any of the Elyadon royals would go home tonight after attending the conference this late into the night. Anyways, it was much safer to travel in the day and Elyadon could not risk losing another of its royals.

Serena nodded as KC made her calm down again. She sighed softly and wiped the tears from her eyes again, listening to KC speak to her about going back out and the girl simply nodded. She cleared her throat softly before looking back up at Kaleb. "Thank you..." she whispered.

Tristan's small smirk straightened into a line at the mention of Aiden. "Yes, I suppose we'll have to. I don't think it would be wise for anyone to leave the palace tonight." he said, looking around for a servant. "I'm sure they have more than a few open rooms to spare." Walking up to a candle boy, Tristan asked where the guest's quarters were located, giving a quick explanation that involved too much drink. Nodding at the two of them, the young servant led them down a few more halls, took a left into what must have been the east wing of the palace. Motioning at two doors down the hall, the servant opened bid them farewell and a good morning. The prince thanked the boy and turned to open the carved wooden door. "We have half an hour before the conference," he said to Nick before closing the door behind himself. "So I guess meet out here in the hall in about twenty-five minutes? We need some time in case we get lost." He smiled sheepishly.

KC gave her a brave smile and softly kissed her forehead. After gently extracting himself from their embrace, the prince pushed the heavy door open, revealing an empty foyer. He turned to give Rena one last smile before backing out of the room to search for his siblings.

"Of course!" she replied enthusiastically. "I haven't had this much fun since I sabotaged one of Serena's garden parties with Nick." She smiled and mounted Crystal's dark horse. "Now let's get home," she smiled. "I expect my parents and siblings are wondering where I am, and why I've been gone so long. If they ask, will you tell them I went to the park for a long evening walk?"

Serena bit her lip softly and hugged herself as she walked out after KC, her eyes red from crying. The girl decided to go see if she could find her brothers, to see if they were alright. Wandering through the quiet hallways, her thoughts drifted back off to Aiden. She could barely believe he would never come back again... That she would never see him again. The princess forced back more tears, knowing that if she would allow herself to cry again, she would seem weak and wasn't going to stop for the next half hour.

Nick smiled tiredly at the boy who had let them to the guest quarters before looking back to Tristan who was alreading opening the door to his room. "Yes, I suppose we should." He chuckled at Tristan's last statement and then turned towards his own room. I wonder if that messenger we sent has delivered the letter to my siblings and parents. They should be arriving by now if that is the case. He opened the door and stepped in, before closing it firmly behind him. The room was furnished nicely and seemed to be cleaned daily. Now what was I doing again? Nick looked around the room. Oh yes, a bath. He went out the room and wandered down two halls before spotting a maid. "Excuse me, could you please send a bath up to my brother's room and then another one to mine? Here, come, I'll show you the rooms we're staying in." Nick strode down the halls and to the two guest rooms they were shown and pointed them out to the maid before dismissing her. He smirked as he found her staring at his torn, bloodied clothes. As she left, Nick thought of his clothes that he had come here in, they would be fine to change into... hopefully they were still in that room. He went back to the palace doors and then walked upstairs to find the door leading to the room he had kept his things in. Opening quietly, he looked around to see if anyone was in there before going inside. He grabbed his bag that was still on the floor and went back to his guest room.

Nick dumped the bag onto a chair and wandered around the room looking at the several objects placed around the room before standing in front of the window, looking out. It was already early in the morning but the sky was still dark. After a few minutes, he heard the door open and turned around. A bath tub was carried in, followed by a line of servants pouring steaming hot water into it, a bit of cold water was then added. As soon as the servants all left, closing the door behind them, Nick took off his clothes, placing his sword, mask and the present he bought for his mother on a chair. The rest of his clothes, apart from the boots went straight into the fire that was quietly dancing on the wood in the fireplace. Nick slid into the tub and sighed. He rubbed himself clean, taking care to clear all the grime off his body and then got out. He quickly slipped on the clothes from his bag and then went outside to ask for the removal of the bath. Going back inside, Nick placed his sword back in it's rightful place, by his side and placed his mother's present in his pocket. Nick then took out the two daggers out of the boots he had worn at the masquerade and slipped them into his cleaner boots. He would later request for his boots to be cleaned, but for now it was time for a little rest. Nick went to the bed and laid down before closing his eyes.

Crystal smiled at her "Okay, let's go" she said and started off down the ally. She wondered what happened between Patch and Arabella and if that was the only purpose Arabella had for coming back. She aso wanted to know why she asked so many questions about him, as she reached the paace she could feel her eyes closing. Crystal got off and let the stableboy take the horses.
