Snakeclaw laughed falling down as Treekit scrambled up giggling. "Oh Forestwhisper I love you!" he said still laughing slightly.

Forestwhisper laughed quietly. "What's not to love?" She joked, picking the kit up in her jaws and placing him beside his littermate.

Snakeclaw laughed. "I don't know? Everybody has to love you though, my love!" he said licking her on the head in gentle strokes.
(BRB Got to do some homework but I'll still be on but a little slow..)

Forestwhisper laughed quietly, finding his compliments sort of amusing. "We'll thank you," she meowed softly, gazing off into the forest as she listened to the sounds she had grown so accustomed to.

Snakeclaw sat down sighing. "When were you planning on having more kits? I was maybe thinking in about two moons, maybe?" he asked curiously.

[pumpkin.]

"I don't mind, whenever you're ready," Forestwhisper told him, her gaze attached to the forest. She watched the shadows move across the structure of the trees and run along the ground, forming into the shape of cats in her eyes. It was majestic, like a realm she had always lived in without even knowing. Maybe the world was dead and all the lush greens were just in their imaginations. Maybe they were dead. Maybe God had created them just to be destroyed again, but they lived on.

Snakeclaw licked her head. "What's up in your mind?" he asked curiously.

Darkpelt

Bluetail's words made his heart do a little stutter. He loved how even though he was giving so much into their relationship, she always found a way to give even more back.

"Yes, you are shining especially tonight." He agreed at her last comment. Sliding out from under her, Darkpelt stretched out his forepaws and arched his back. "Maybe I'll take you up on that offer to go swimming. It's probably about time I learned to. Having the ability to catch fish on your side when other prey is scarce is a valuable trait." Darkpelt mused.

He made his way around to the bank of the water, his rough pads soothed by the soft pebbles and grains of sand. Tentatively, he took a pawstep into the water. To his surprise, it was not cold at all. Instead, a cool and refreshing wave came to greet him, washing around his forelegs. It was amazing, how the same gentle waves that caressed him now so delicately were the same ones that dragged him below their treacherous, icy surface just moons ago.

He glanced back at Bluetail, as if waiting for her approval. The anxiety yet excitement Darkpelt was feeling washed over his face in a whirlpool in his eyes.

Forestwhisper turned to look at him with a small smile. "Just... Life," she told him. She wasn't particularly lying, because she was. Well, at least life and death. She thought about it often, why things were created and how, why they died and why they were the way they were. Why would they even be created, made specially, just to have their own unique pattern and designs be destroyed again like a priceless artifact in a furnace. Just one slip and you can break the most fragile thing, they're rare traits and special talents; all to be destroyed then reborn again.
