He purred as she finished her sentence, his paws falling to tuck into his chest. "And as soon as we have kits, it'll be like a full-time job over another full-time job." Darkpelt pointed out. "Kits are going to be such a hassle."
Sliding up onto his elbows, Darkpelt's nose and lips pressed against her own. His whiskers twitched at the tickling sensation of her fur pressed against his face. With one of his paws he reached up to stroke her cheek. A deep rumbling purr started deep in his chest, and the only other sound was their heart beats and the gentle sloshing of water below them.
BluetailThe she-cat nodded, her eyes focused and reasoned with.
"Yes, yes you're right Darkpelt," she said, "the time isn't right yet..."
Darkpelt leaned up toward her, and a purr of affection rose up as he pressed his nose and lips against hers. When his paw touched her cheek, she leaned into it and flirtingly licked his warm pawpads of his paw and toes.
"I love it when you purr my love," she whispered, "it feels like I'm the only one who gets to see this side to you, and feel your love, and hear you purr and see that wonderful handsome smile when you look upon me. It makes me feel special seeing it..."
His warmth almost had her own fur dried, and she relished the clean smell of her fur instead of the old-groomed and fox-tinted smell that had begun to cling to her fur. She felt refreshed, and decidedly more pretty when she bathed.
"I feel prettier than I've been in days," she meowed, sharing her though, licking his chest fur affectionately, "it's amazing what a soak in the shallows can do for my stress levels,"

Forestwhisper sat down and watched them, her eyes shining. She remembered Shadowheart as a kit and a small purr escaped her as she imagined Shadowheart as a kit once again. She laughed quietly as Treekit kept falling, amusement lighting up her eyes like fireworks on the Fourth of July.

Forestwhisper nodded silently, wonder coursing through her veins. Would she end up in the nursery once again? She would love to, she had grown accustomed to the milk scent and the herbs and the kicking of kits while you slept. It somehow brought joy to her, feeling that she could help the clan like that.

Snakeclaw laughed, turning back to the kits, he wondered over to treekit. "Here you go." he said as he put Treekit to the spot he has been trying to reach. "Yay I'm king of the World!" Treekit squealed leaping onto Snaekcalw's back. "Ahh Foreswhisper! Help me!" he play joked trying to reach back with his paw to swipe Treekit off his claws sheathed.

"Okay," Forestwhisper responded, a mischievous smile on her face as she padded over. "Here you go Treekit, climb the mountain," she purred picking up Treekit by the scruff and placing him on Snakeclaw's head. "Masterpiece," she joked, backing up and looking at them.
