Shadowheart purred lightly, the silence drifting back again after a few minutes. She didn't care, as long as she was there with him, and she was enjoying the peace. No angry competitors like Thrushcloud or Petalfur, no half-brothers, her mentor no longer was there with sadness in his eyes, and she knew her mother was in love again. Everything just seemed... Fine for once.

He purred as she finished her sentence, his paws falling to tuck into his chest. "And as soon as we have kits, it'll be like a full-time job over another full-time job." Darkpelt pointed out. "Kits are going to be such a hassle."

Sliding up onto his elbows, Darkpelt's nose and lips pressed against her own. His whiskers twitched at the tickling sensation of her fur pressed against his face. With one of his paws he reached up to stroke her cheek. A deep rumbling purr started deep in his chest, and the only other sound was their heart beats and the gentle sloshing of water below them.

"Alright," Shadowheart meowed gratefully, trusting Pebblefrost's sister. She settled down again and began to grow his fur.

"I don't care, we went where I wanted last time," Forestwhisper purred lightly. She flicked an ear and drew a paw over her face.

Snakeclaw stood and thought for a moment. "You know what, simply, let's just go, um, um, to the Warriors dne or behind the nursery to watch the kits play?" he said as he suggested two things.

Flowerpetal licked her kits. She shoved her nose up to the kits, noticing Shadekit had an odd smell to her. "Whitepaw! Oh, Whitepaw! Shadekit, she smells odd!" she cried.
