Eraitzal

Name Meaning:

Eraitzal is a combination of two names. I took the Era from Erebus, meaning darkness, and melded it with Itzal, meaning shadow. I thought that the two blended nicely. He goes by Era for short, although not many would call him that, and for a good reason. His wrath is fearsome to behold, and getting on his bad side is a very dangerous move to make.

Merciless
Do not expect mercy from this ruthless Elkrin, for you shall not receive it. Those weaker than him he only holds in contempt. Do not cross his path, for you might not live to regret it.

Hidden
Eraitzal hides in the shadows, away from the eyes of those who walk the earth. Unlike some, his emotions do not show on the surface, to the extent that it claimed he does not possess them. But he is simply secretive, preferring the comfort of the cool, dark shadows to the harsh glare of day.

Misunderstood
Darkness is not evil, as most think it is. It is simply a state of being, neither good nor bad. Once a rider has understood that, only then can they begin to comprehend Eraitzal.

Unforgiving
If you cross this Elkrin, you will never be forgiven nor forgotten. And if you mess with one of the very few creature that he cares about you are in even more trouble. Tread lightly around Eraitzal, and do not cross him if you value your existence.

Willful
Eraizal is not one to give up control of himself to another being. In a pact with a rider, he expected to have control over both of them. But little does he know that his rider will be as strong-headed as he is, or that his life would forever be changed with his summoning…

Ryu
This gorgeous stag's name means "void".

Elusive
A creature of the night, Ryu can slip under the most alert of noses, he is the son of darkness himself, and is able to disappear from shadow to shadow like a ghost in the night, making no sound as he creeps past the unaware humans. Why, that was how I met him, he was lurking in the shadows, and I stumbled beck from a noise, falling and hitting his leg. He probably would have run away because of his nature to want to be hidden from any other life, but he didn't, he stayed by my side.

Complicated
Ryu has an incredibly complicated past, filled with horror, regret, hatred, and love, all created and torn apart by his dark soul and the creatures that haunt him as he sleeps; These creatures are those of the shadows, killing anything in there path that leads to their leader: Ryu. He doesn't want to lead them, and they have taken it out on others, mostly being Ryu's family. He has tried to stop them, but it too late, for he has no one left but me, and he will forever blame himself.

Protective
Ryu has always been very protective of me, with good reason of course. He doesn't let me do anything dangerous, and is always watching after me to make sure I'm safe. He knows of the dangers that lurk in the shadows, but I'm all he has left, and he would never let me out of his sight.

Sophisticated
On the other hand, when Ryu speaks, he uses excellent grammar, and has an expansive vocabulary. He speaks like he's 1000 years old, like he knows all. It's funny, because he probably acquires all this information through his constant reading of the English dictionary.

Conflicted
Ryu always seems to have inner conflicts with himself, I'm afraid he may suffer from multiple personality disorder. He gets migraines often when faced with a choice, and tends to avoid choosing altogether. I have tried to help him, but I'm afraid his conflicts go beyond my reach into the darkest crevices of his mind.

Dox is old english for the word "Dark" and Azoth is the Universal Medicine in Alchemy, a highly sought for item. It also is said to be for the origin of life energy imbued into a fluid for consumption. Also known as the Elixer of Life. Alchemy is a spiritual science and with conversion and creating things from others. Moonlight to Darkness, I have chosen this name for it to mean, "Dark Life" or "Dark's Source."

Hanging in the shadows that cast off others, he prefers to be behind them. Not letting them realize his discreet presence, for they are insignificant and would only waste his time if he had to acknowledge them.

By using both meanings of this word it is able to represent Doxazoth's elegance and dexterity while being blended with his physical power. As well as his ability to deviously manipulate in a subtle manner.

Doxazoth dwells in the dark realm of magic and has vast knowledge in the black arts. He also has the ability to communicate with spirits of the forgotten and lost deceased that wander, he uses this skill as an advantage far above others. These same spirits may also provide some information to lead to short foggy glimpses of the future.

A strange, out of place quality of Doxazoth is his lack of choice. He often changes his mind at random intervals that tend to be near last second which may be or not beneficial to him or his rider. cruel:He will never be nice to anything even if his life depended on it. He will try and go out of his way to hurt anything. He can use his dark magic to possess something and when it wakes up it is badly maimed.
Elusive:You will never find this elkrin unless he lets you. If you do find him he will just run away. You will have to put all your willlpower to find him.
Enigmatic:He is impossible to get anything out of him. His mind is like a labrinyth that is impossible to get out of. He will not tell you anything unless you give him what he truely wants.
Power monger:He is a power monger for him the more power the better. He wants to be the one to destroy the world if anyone is going to. You give him power over anything he will treat you well.

Like both the dark side of the moon and the deepest parts of the ocean, very few know what Kage holds deep within his inner core. He is not afraid to let others feel his arcane atmosphere, and this often drags people to him, all of which wanting to know more of his origin. Kage does not easily share is views or self, and stays far away from communication with the masses, so to this day anything about him still remains a mystery.
