Carter sighed lightly, pushing her words away, "Thanks" he muttered, "Be sure to check out the food supply" he rambled, always telling his members to have a full stomach. He shook his fur out once more, then trotted on, sighing to himself lightly...

Skye hadn't heard a thing Kiyah said, sadly. She was concerned with Carter. She shook her head, feeling as impolite as her brother. "Sorry, I'm uhh-- Skye," the fea said. She watched Carter leave from the corner of her eye, and then looked back at Kiyah quietly. "I don't recall ever meeting you, yet," Skye said with a smile on her muzzle. Skye turned to look at Carter, and she then looked at Kiyah reluctantly, "I'll talk to you later- Kiyah. I need to do something." Honestly, Skye felt bad for leaving Kiyah. She seemed kind and friendly.

The fea nearly tripped before getting out of earshot and sight of Kiyah. Then the fea quietly approached Carter, with a raise of a brow, "Carter, are you alright? You don't look like your normal self." Her amber eyes were filled with unsure thoughts. Does he need space? Alone time? Skye didn't want to disturb this brute, but she reluctantly asked.

Miakoda only grunted in response to his words before going back in the direction she had been going before. She walked so the water splashed over her paws everytime a wave crashed over the shore. The sensation of being swept away seemed to completely calm the female and send her into her own thoughts. Sure she still walked but her attention was mainly elsewhere like what she would be doing the rest of the day. When a child ran in front of her though she snapped out of it and scurried backwards a few steps, ears flat and head lowered at the inconsiderate little thing. He had nearly ran into her but didn't seem to care as he jumped into the ocean and swam around laughing and giggling as all kids seemed to do. His mother was not too far away and when the woman saw the dog she started yelling for her to shoo. Miakoda bared her teeth as the woman came a little closer then loped away, paws moving quickly over the soft sand.

Kiyah smiles brightly just as the Female introduced herself. "Well-" Before she could respond, the Female said she had to go, and turned around, bounding off. K's ears lied flat on the back of her thick skull again, and she growled in annoyance. "No One ever wants to talk to me." She gulps hard, trying to swallow the knot that was in her throat, down. She sighed heavily, the rough sand running in between her toes as she slowly walked, head dipped in a sad manner.

Her hazel eyes were slit as if she was tired, and when Kiyah made it to the 'Wood Place', where the Humans walked on, she plopped underneath it, ears twitching at the THUMP THUMP sound of shoes above her. She let her head rest on her paws as she plopped on her belly, and her eyes began to slowly close.

The lead male healer turned his head and looked at the female dog, "Did you get hurt during the hunt?" he asked as they began to pick up the fawn's large body. Tatum knew something might be wrong with the fae because of the noise she had made, it was like a wince or something. Before as a healer and a brute, he only healed the bodies of brute dogs... but when he became lead male healer, he became an expert in healing the wounds and body of both faes and brutes.
