Arashi was surprised by Aiden's reaction. He quickly hide the surprise and smiled in return, replying quietly. "Yeah, really. I enjoy your company...a lot." He knew that he was probably turning a light shade of pink, but he knew there wasn't much he could do about it.

I kept looking at him out of the corner of my eye. I couldn't help it. "Thanks," I said, still quietly. I'm pretty sure he was the first person to actually say that out loud to me.

Arashi smiled softly and then ran a hand through his hair carefully. "You don't have to thank me." He squeezed Aiden's hand again. "Would you be alright with sitting in the park?"

I nodded. "Sure," I answered. Why would I say no? I liked Arashi, and I really had nothing else I wanted to do now.

Arashi slowly stood up, unable to wipe the soft smile from his lips. "Alright, good." He kept his hand in the other boy's, hoping that Aiden would continue to allow the touch.

"I just can't," I said. "And I can't explain why."

I smiled a little bit and stood up.
