What date did you register as a CS member?: 5th of November, 2009.

How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): Including this post I've made 1653 posts.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS, and how many hours do you usually spend per day?: I visit everyday here, and I spend many hours talking with people, trading, etc. here.

Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them: Yes, I have. I've been roleplay moderator in few places. And I have my own forum-based RPG, and I'm admin of it. Noctúre is this place. But it is in finnish.

Have you participated in many roleplays outside of CS before? If there are any places in particular, please link to them.: Well, these places are only in finnish, but..Noctúre, Kokoro Ni Hito Yaoi RPG, Korpimaa. I've roleplayed at many, many other places too, but they aren't 'alive' anymore. I've roleplayed with my friends via messenger, skype, and via phone too.

Have you participated in many roleplays on CS before?: Yes. Three or five, hard to remember. But right now I'm in one rp, it is based on one horror game. You can go and look at it.

Why do you want to be a roleplay moderator for CS?: I love roleplaying; I've roleplayed 8 years, which is like half of my life. I know every rule of roleplaying, and I can help newbies and give tips to them how to roleplay correctly.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position: I said this already, but yes, I have my own forum-based rpg and I've been roleplay moderator some years ago too. And I've roleplayed 8 years. And even if I'm finnish, and mostly I speak and write in finnish, it doesn't mean that I can't rp or write in english. My english is pretty good, even if I say it by myself. So yes, I can understand english very well.

APPLICATON

1.What date did you register as a CS member?:
Aug 21, 2012
I am awful with exact dates, this might be 6 months to the day, but I had an account before this one that had at least a year of registration (the account was properly taken care of it's long gone).
2.How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):
419
3.How many days a week do you usually visit CS, and how many hours do you usually spend per day?
I can usually be here five days a week, at least five hours a day. It really depends on my schedule. I could be here for seven days and ten hours each day, or three days and four hours.
4.Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them
Nosir
5.Have you participated in many roleplays outside of CS before? If there are any places in particular, please link to them.
I used to roleplay sparingly on howrse.com in the forums, but the specific places are long gone
6.Have you participated in many roleplays on CS before?
99% of my 419 posts are more than likely roleplay related
7.Why do you want to be a roleplay moderator for CS?
I like to be a problem solver and a peace keeper. I like to find solutions to a problem rather than automaticcaly just condemning and moving on, and I like to teach people what's right and what's wrong here. On the other hand, I wouldn't be the person who goes lightly on someone who obviously knows they're breaking rules. A lot of moderators here are so snappish and to the point, and nobody wants to stop and maybe make a suggestion rather than just saying 'that's wrong, stop it'
That doesn't sit right with me. I think part of moderating is being a friend and a helper, not just the wielder of the law. So... that's what I'd do, I suppose.
8.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required):
I've acted as a peer mediator amongst friends and family for years. I also have a natural desire to solve things.

The good is an illusion. Little fables folks tell themselves so they can get through their days without screaming too much.

What date did you register as a CS member?:

Sat Aug 22, 2009.

How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):

7984

How many days a week do you usually visit CS, and how many hours do you usually spend per day?

I usually spend four to five hours per day browsing CS daily.

Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them

No

Have you participated in many roleplays outside of CS before? If there are any places in particular, please link to them.

No

Have you participated in many roleplays on CS before?

Yes, many... oh so many.

Why do you want to be a roleplay moderator for CS?

I'd like to join the position of Roleplay Moderator because I am responsible, determine and willing to answer the call of all fellow CS citizens (God I sound like I'm applying to be a Superhero). With three years of awareness and respect for Chicken Smoothie PG-13, Spam and One account rules and one incident where I helped out on the 'Art Shops - Trading CS pets for custom-made art' forum I believe that I can be an excellent addition to the CS Moderators.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?

One, though it may not count; I was the female representative for my class two years ago.

APPLICATON FORM
(Do NOT apply if you are aged 15 or younger, no excuses.)
1. What date did you register as a CS member?: (if it's less than 6 months ago, do not apply) August 11th 2010

2. How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): 1267 Note: I browse lots of forums and tend to post only when I feel it’s necessary.

3. How many days a week do you usually visit CS, and how many hours do you usually spend per day? 7 days a week, around 7 hours a day and 3 on roleplays. On holidays, I’m on all the time.

4. Have you moderated on any other forums before?
Outside of CS:
I've managed several Facebook groups with over 400 members and I've made my own website ( http://www.duckclub1.webs.com )
(On CS:)
I have for Telescope, but she is an inactive user now. I’ve also helped out as mini-mods in many artshops and have managed my own artshop.

5. Have you participated in many roleplays outside of CS before? Yes. Before I found CS, I roleplayed on various RP websites such as roleplay gateway (http://www.roleplaygateway.com) RP World and Neopets.

6. Have you participated in many roleplays on CS before?
Yes, more than half of my posts are RP related. I like expressing myself through roleplays through different perspectives and characters. I’ve also held a couple 1X1s and made a few roleplays that were quite successful (300 replies) in the past.

7. Why do you want to be a roleplay moderator for CS?
I would like to be a roleplay moderator because I believe I am on enough and I read other roleplays that I do not participate in. I know the rules and can spot them when they’re being disobeyed. CS holds a very high reputation for being organised and well handled. We owe a lot of this to the moderators and to all the general helpers who help newbies adapt into the CSian world and culture. I would be honoured to be a part of that group, I would be committed to my job and I would work hard to maintain a good reputation. I would like to give back to CS by fixing mistakes and taking down offensive things before they reach young children’s eyes.

I am an active user and I think if I could use my activeness for such a useful purpose as moderating what I normally do a lot. In the past, I have reported a lot of content I though was inappropriate but it took time to resolve and unfortunately, many people saw the posts already. If I was a roleplay moderator, I could correct the posts as soon as I saw them as soon as possible.

8.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position.

As I mentioned before, am online a lot and I go through other’s roleplays frequently and spot mistakes. My current job is the editor of a local newspaper (in Thailand) and this requires lots of skills including managing and fixing errors. I am an experienced roleplayer and I could help others improve their roleplayings skills whilst fixing and deleting inappropriate content.

Some of my skills are in:
Responsibility
I speak 4 languages (English, Thai, German and French)
I write grammatically correct.
I have been on CS for a long time and have spent 4-8 everyday. I know the rules and I was well-known before I changed my username (Yelp, Yellow Fungi, 2011! And 2012! (I’m done changing it.
And because I’d do my job well and would like to help out with what I can./

What date did you register as a CS member?: May 7, 2011

How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): 2,583

How many days a week do you usually visit CS, and how many hours do you usually spend per day? I get on everyday of the week, and can spend up to 5 hours or more on here due to roleplays.

Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them: Yes. I have. It is a roleplay site that mainly dealt with horses and humans. It started in 2009 and I've have been on it since it first opened. It's gone slightly dead now, but there are still members present. link

Have you participated in many roleplays outside of CS before? If there are any places in particular, please link to them.: Yes. It is the same link above. Everyone post 1,000 worded post or more, including myself.

Have you participated in many roleplays on CS before?: Yes. I am participating in about 5 role-plays at the moment.

Why do you want to be a roleplay moderator for CS?: Because I enjoy the thought of being able to keep this site kid friendly and really do think I would be good at helping others around the site and at helping settle disputes between users. I would also really like to keep art theft from happening. Being an artist myself, and having had my art stolen before, I know how it feels when you see your art somewhere and being used by someone that never asked for permission. I would also be able to lock, delete or alter post made within the forum quite easily. I have experience with computers and editing software. I know that there is probably just a button that lets you do so.. you know what I mean though ^^

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required): I have experience in peer mediation. The site that I Moderate had a lot of fights back in the years. Me and a few other Moderators settled them though.

What date did you register as a CS member?
September 11 2009
How many posts have you made in the forum?
32597
How many days a week do you usually visit CS, and how many hours do you usually spend per day?
I spend all of my time on CS. I have many portable devices to visit it at any point in the day. I spend literally 5-10 sometimes more hours on CS everyday. I stay up late most weekends on this site so sometimes I cram up to twelve, sometimes up to even twenty hours here. Even at work I'm allowed to use my phone and iPad, so I still access CS there. I'm on seven days a week, unless I have to go somewhere.
Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them
I was an admin on a site with a friend of mine, it was called Celestial pets.
I also helped this same friend admin a Facebook page.
Have you participated in many roleplays outside of CS before? If there are any places in particular, please link to them.
I had one with the same friend on Celestial pets, and I've role played through email and Skype before. I've also done different types of role plays, like Runescape and stuff like that.
Have you participated in many roleplays on CS before?
Role-playing is all I've been doing on Chicken Smoothie since 2009. I role-play, all the time.
I've created several, the longest of which went on for three years. It'd a proud accomplishment of mine when it comes to roleplaying. I role-play all types of things, animals, people, fandom, Ect.
Why do you want to be a roleplay moderator for CS?
Because I really would like to do something for this site. I've been here for years and its saved me from many things, and it's given me friends and opportunities I've never imagined. I love this website more than anything in the world and I really want to do something to help out. I think it should be friendly for everyone to enjoy, so even kids can love this website as much I love it. People need to obey the rules like the law, and ill do my very best to uphold the c: I want to keep the bad people out, considering I've known a few, and the roleplay boards happy and safe for everyone.
I love role-playing as well so I want to make sure it's done to the standards that CS requires c:
I want this position more than anything in the world right now. I have everything else I need, but this I think is the biggest wish I could ever have, to be a role-play moderator. Last time I was too young but now I'm more than old enough and I want this position so, so, so, so bad now that I have the chance. If I were to get it I would be the happiest person in the world, and I would do everything in my power to be the very best at it!
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position
Well I've had experience as an administrator, so I kind of know how to deal with people. I keep calm in situations now that I'm more mature, and I know how to keep a level head.
I speak three languages, English, French and Japanese, plus I'm learning Swedish and Korean. I catch on to stuff like that really quickly.
I also hold a job high along my track (I'm close to an assistant manager) and I deal with grumpy people and issues like that all the time. Though my job in real life never interferes with my time on CS since I'm allowed to use my phone at work and it's not very busy on days I work.
Thank you so very much for this opportunity!

What date did you register as a CS member?:

July 1st, 2009

How many posts have you made in the forum :

2327 posts, most of which are roleplay.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS, and how many hours do you usually spend per day?

I visit CS Every day, and I spend in all, around three hours or so on the site. Normally in twenty to thirty minute intervals.

Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them

Thus far no.

Have you participated in many roleplays outside of CS before? If there are any places in particular, please link to them.
I have roleplayed many times on Wolf-Haven.com , Evodragon.com, and marapets.com. Most of my roleplaying is on Wolf-Haven though, seeing as I am active there every day.

Have you participated in many roleplays on CS before?

Yes, I would say I have been in at least 20 roleplays, many of which are dead due to inactive group members or an inactive partner. Most roleplays I so are one-on-one roleplays. Recently my roleplays have been directed to off-site, though I ensure that my skills have improved much from my last posts on this site and the forums.

Why do you want to be a roleplay moderator for CS?

I have been a writer for around four or five years now, having many experiences with adapting my writing skills to the partner I have as well as improving them in general. I have always taken an interest in trying to help others with their roleplaying skills, often giving advice to newer roleplayers to a site as well as helping others when they need it. I would be willing to help any conflicts that may arise between two members and keep an eye out for anything that may be inappropriate. I also wish to browse through the forums, see each persons style and how they write, seeing if I can better my own and take pointers from their writing. I enjoy going through roleplays, reading how they turn out an what both parties conjure up from their imagination.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position

I am currently in a Creative Writing class, so I have gained much knowledge on the format of writing. I've also solved many issues between members on other sites besides CS, trying to have both parties calm down both parties end up content, if not happy when the issue is resolved. I have much experience with the CS forums and I have become well acquainted with the Terms of Service as well as the rules for the roleplaying board.
During a confrontation, I will often get both sides of the stories from each party, and think over how the situation could be resolved without favoring one player over the other.
Having no personal connections or friendships with members on the site, I can easily have an unbiased outlook on the situation. I have often been in mediation in real life issues as well as online, and in the end both parties are often happy with the way things have turned out, and the problem will no longer arise at a later date.
