"If you wish. I don't want you to feel uncomfortable." Fogmask prided himself in being a gentleman. After Rockpath joined, most cats had forgotten that feature, only seeing a bitter, aggressive cat in his place.

"Am I allowed to name that one Stubby?" A playful grin crossed Rabbitleap's face as he watched the small creatures wriggle about. "Or Lynxkit... But I definitely like Stubby better."

Ravenclaw looked down at the ground, seething. "Thank StarClan you're already dead." He said bitterly. "I just hope you turn out to be a better grandfather than a father." He said. "But if you so much as try to make the kit kill its littermate a, then I will risk getting into the Dark Forest to protect them." He said angrily, his eyes blazing with rage and regret. He suddenly hated himself for having kits and carrying on his father's legacy, even if it was accidental.

Hollyflower's head snapped to the side and she let gasped. "Fishleap! Gah! For StarClan's sake..." she tried to regain herself calmly. "Don't ever do that again! You scared the fur off of me!"

"I've shared a nest beside you since kithood, I'm sure I can handle this." She said with a soft teasing smile. Her mother had kitted beside his mother just moons after his brith and she had been aprenticed two moons after him so she was used to it.

"So... You'll be a kit-killer just like me then, huh?" Vipershade leered, plots for the little kit already dancing in his head. "Protect them, kill them, do as you wish. Either way I'll win and you know it."

Fogmask nodded, moving so he curled about Sootrain, not touching her, but stretched out on the edge of the nest. Sleeping in adjacent nests was much different than sharing one.

"Stubby it is," Jaywing teased. "I think Lynxkit is a beautiful name," she purred before turning towards the little calico. "Duskkit, after the brave kit who's life was claimed in a terrible incident today," she mewed sadly.

Minnowsplash shot Goosecall a tentative smile. "I'm sure Jaywing appreciated your hardwork," she mewed softly as she watched the three kits suckle.

Fishleap purred in amusement. "Sorry Hollyflower," he chuckled, a pur rumbling in his throat.

She blinked softly as she gently rested her head on her white paws with a soft sigh. Her life had become completely turned upside down. She didn't know what Starclan had in store for her but so far she didn't like it and the churning she'd felt in her stomach was still bothering her.
