Dee had let a small yelp as a stinging pain ran through her tail, up her spine. She gritted her teeth to stop herself from crying out in pain as she was pulled to the ground, her wings being crushed slightly. Dee attempted to pick herself up but she was too weak and tired while he was strong to keep to the ground. She stopped struggling and went limp giving up, Dee knew there wasn't any point to try and get free. She didn't flinch as the other creatures tail made faint snapping noises, it didn't bother her. But what was bothering her was the cold, she could feel her energy slowly drain away and she needed to find somewhere indoors. The only thing was that she didn't have anywhere to go, maybe it was better if the creature killed her quickly rather than the cold making her death slow.

Mickey looked at him, 'the sea. I've never been across it. I escaped and found here, as did most in this area. I've always wanted to cross the sea' she said absent mindedly, her eyes glazed. She watched the fire for a while, and then said 'Your welcome to stay here if you want, but I'm out of food, so youll need to help me find some.'

Dane looked around for a second, and then bent down. He bit down on the back of her neck, as a mother lion would do a cub, and heaved her onto his back so that she slotted inbetween his spikes. He started to run to a derilict building he had stayed in the night before. Climbing up the side of the building, keeping her in balance with his tail, he entered the apartment, and laid her down on a bed.

When the other creature bit down on the back of her neck, Dee thought it was the end for her but she was surprised when he heaved her up and slotted her in-between his spines. Despite being uncomfortable she didn't complain, partly because she didn't want to say anything and that it was cold as well. When she was placed on a bed she rolled over onto her side, her back towards the other creature. After a moment Dee found the energy to shift and she changed into her human form and she rolled over to face him. "Why didn't you kill me back there?" she asked, knowing that she probably wouldn't get an answer.

[Zear]

Zik growled to himself and ran. The air outside was getting colder by the mintue. He could feel his human form skin prickling and the heat swirling out. He heard noise from the buidling that he was closest to but he knew that if he didn't get in a building soon the cold would finish him off. He heard someone speaking from in the building. (Dee) The voice sounded female. He quickly and queitly moved to a torn up old coat closet nearby him. The closet with filled with pieces of torn up fabric and broken pieces of wood. Zik carefully avoded the spliters and hoped that not one noticed him come in.

Tikaani looked at her. "Of course, I wouldn't dream of not helping," he said softly. "Are then any particular areas that can be searched?"

[Kites]

Mickey's golden eyes turned to the stranger and narrowed slightly. 'There's a forest not too far north of here, and there are edible fish in the sea, but both have high risks. But I've heard of many mosters living in both of these areas. We would need to be careful.' She looked at the frost covered window, and shook her head. 'These beasts are not of our kind. They stayed behind, they lived. Some humans encountered them I have heard.'

Dane turned his back to her, 'it would be cowardly. I wouldn't kill, unless my victim would fight me in return.' He moved over to a small pile of logs he had gathered a few days before, and a couple of pieces of flint. He spent a few minutes scratching away, until a spark ignighted the straw placed around and over the logs. 'This should keep us warm for the night,' he murmered

Tikaani tensed slightly. "I know the creatures you're talking about," he said quietly, eyes narrowing as he continued to stare at the ceiling. "And I hate them with a fiery passion." He sighed, rubbing his hands over his face. He didn't want to remember this, not now, not when he needed to focus so badly.

[Kites]

Mickey nodded, 'We tried to fight one sea creature a few years ago. We lost many, we were weak, stupid and foolish. The darks could have taken us so easily back then, but they didn't. They had lost many while on a large hunting trip. They lost their captain to it. It sent them in disarray for a few years, long enough for us to get back to where we were to begin.'

[Harpy•]

"Luck," Tikaani said simply. "It's the only thing we can trust to determine what happens." He sighed. "Apart from God...but I haven't heard Him in a long, long time." He shook his head. Why was he getting so upset? He didn't need to become depressed again, so soon after the last time.
