Your adoptable ID#8 is missing its </adoptable> tag.

Showing the adopter's name is very tricky here, since the system isn't actually able to record anything about the pets that are adopted. So right now, it can't even remember an adopter name, let alone display it.

Thank you!

Okay, that's fine. I suppose I should get a better concept of PHP before I even consider that, also.

When you're calling readfile inside your HTML page, PHP inserts the content of the image file right into the HTML source. That's the garbage you're seeing. What you need to do is, like normal, tell the browser that you have an image to display (by using an img tag) and tell it where to download the image (which will be the adoptbody.php source file, so <img src="adoptbody.php"/>)

Me again! x)

I am currently having someone help me set up a MySQL database for my adoptables site, and I was wondering if this means that I could eventually have accounts on the website? And if so, is it difficult?

I'm sorry if this question isn't that specific, I'm not really sure how to ask...

Yes, you could use it for an account system, and yes, it's very difficult. The easiest way is to just get a ready-made accounts system like http://www.myadopts.com
