What date did you register as a CS member?:
October 7th 2009
Actually I didn't become truly active until mid 2010, but thats not really important

How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):
As of this moment; 10378 posts

How many days a week do you usually visit CS, and how many hours do you usually spend per day?
I get on CS 7 days a week unless I am unable to access the internet, and I typically spend about 4-8 hours roaming CS on weekdays depending how tired I am after work, and on weekends I spend up to 12 hours or more. Not all of that is spent only on CS due to my lack of chatting, but I always have CS up on a tab monitoring it and can easily spend more time on CS and less on other sites or drawing.

Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them
The only forums I have done 'real' moderating on are the Chibifurs forums. [My profile on the Chibifurs forums] I'm only an artist on the site, but I have moderator capabilities and do moderating of the forums like deleting spam, banning spam bots, answering questions, welcoming new members, and referring members to the real mods if they break the rules.

Have you participated in many roleplays outside of CS before?
Yes, I've been roleplaying since 2008 and have loved every minute of it. I usually only do literate or semi-literate roleplays. I also mostly do one on one RPS right now, but I've done plently of group RPs as well. I've roleplayed on Wajas, Felisifre, and Magistream to name a few. Here are some links to a few roleplays I have participated in. [Wajas #1] [Wajas #2] [Felisfire] [Magistream] There are plenty more but I don't keep links.

Have you participated in many roleplays on CS before?
Unfortunately, no. I found CS to have so many one-liner roleplays that all of the literate and semi-literate ones got buried. I don't enjoy one-liner RPs as much so rather than struggling to find a good lit/semi-lit RP to join or trying to get enough people to join my own, I simply went to other sites to RP. Just because I haven't roleplayed here doesn't mean I'm less knowledgeable that someone who RPs all the time here. My literate RPs get to be a good 4-5 big paragraphs long each post. I understand basic RP rules, and can easily learn the specific RP rules to CS. I'm quick to learn because I'm so OCD about making mistakes, and I'm always sure to follow them exactly, as well as to use common sense.

Why do you want to be a roleplay moderator for CS?
Ah, the big question. Well, to be completely honest, because I want to help make CS better. Early last year I finished getting all of my dream pets, which wasn't much really, the dragon PPS was the highest on the list. And after finishing I kept trading up rares list pets without really having anything in mind I wanted to do with them, just trading because I like trading. But after a while I took a good look at what I had, a couple advents and a not-too-popular mid September list pet. Not much at all, but I felt I needed to set some sort of goal for myself, so I could keep trading them up and have a reason to trade them up, something to remind myself to keep going. So I thought up the most outlandish thing I could think of. Trade up to a Sunjewel, then give it away. Crazy right? I thought so. I didn't once believe I could really do it. It was just something to keep me trading, but low and behold, thanks to some extremely generous users, my own determination, and my own want to help recognize those users who are really amazing, when August rolled around I had a Sunjewel sitting in my groups. And two of those months I wasn't even able to get onto the computer(one-time thing, no way I'm going through that again) It was by far the most amazing experience I've had on CS, I traded it for 77 rares list pets and gifted them all away to users who are really amazing. I wanted to show people that even though getting a Sunjewel sounds ridiculous and out of reach, its possible. A lot of users have told me they have been inspired by what I did. And its not the fact that I inspired them that I'm proud of, its the fact that I have contributed in helping make CS a better place, however little I have contributed, I have given people a new hope to get their dreamies, and I've shown people that gifting away a Sunjewels worth of rares list is just as rewarding as being gifted those pets. And I want to do more. I want to help make CS better, to help teach people who want to learn, I want to help guide people in the right direction. Thats why I created Adopt A Newbie, because I want to help make CS better and I want to help people.

At times I can be soft, I'm a forgiving person. I don't anger easily, and while yes I am sometimes blunt with people, or every once in a blue moon I do rush in with eyes flaming about ready to pound someone out of frustration, I go back and I look at that, and I learn from my mistakes, and I don't repeat them. I know I'm not perfect. Far from it. But every time I read something or write, I think about the person on the other side of the screen. We are all people, from a lot of different places, and we all come here, and we all choose to do something with this mask we put on every time we log on. Some people choose to troll around and stomp on people and do whatever the heck they want just because they can. And for those people I have no sympathy. Because they don't think twice about what the other person they just trolled on feels, and I don't like that. I hate it. I would like to become a roleplay moderator so I can stop that, so I can help the people who need it, and so I can make CS better, one censored word at a time.

I also know how frustrating it can be to see people breaking the rules, doing something wrong, then trying to help fix it, and you just get a slap in your face for your troubles. I want to help makes the roleplay forums a better and more welcoming place to be. I want kids to be able to go and read and enjoy and participate in roleplays without fear of one day reading of some horrific scene, some kids don't scare easily and it might not bother them, and others could have nightmares for months. I want to help make the roleplay forums a safe place for kids, and help moderate those forums so they are a more friendly place for everyone.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?:
Actually I can say I've had experience with peer mediation. I have run the Lights On Lights Off Halloween-themed gifting game for two years. [link] I can't link to the first board as it was deleted when it got too old. The game runs only for the month of October and is based off Lights On Lights Off that is played on Wajas, Felisfire, and a few other sites. It had to be changed quite a bit for CS because of the heavy reliance on forums here and the massive amounts of players who joined. I nearly ended up re-writing the game to make it work smoothly on CS. The first year almost 1000 people joined, and last year we got 1300 playing by the time it ended. Both years I was the creator of the thread and ran most of it myself. The second year we had a xat that I had to moderate that got quite a few nasty fights on. I did have thread-mods helping me both years, but almost all complaints, questions, and comments were directed or forwarded to me. I was put into situations where I had to sort out arguments, enforce rules that were being broken by 80% of the players, and crack down on users for trolling around. Granted it was only a month, but I've learned a great deal from those experiences, and I've been able to calm down fights, be unbiased in arguments, and enforce rules no matter the excuse. Yes I am a nice and forgiving person, but I'm also quite strict when it comes to rules.

Also, as mentioned before, I run Adopt a Newbie, and have been running it for almost a year now. I have spent a good amount of time making sure it runs smoothly and newbies are given adopter who can help them the most. I've dealt with all kinds of questions there as well as arguments and complaints. I have been told that I'm very patient, and I'd like to believe that is true. It is always good to be patient, even with people who are being rude to you. Being rude back will only make the situation worse. I always look for ways to calm the situation or end it without making a giant fuss.

I will pull out my last card now. I've only told this to a few people because I do not feel it is something that should be flaunted or cast about carelessly, and whatever we may want to think, I know it does change people's opinions of me, whether for better or for worse. I only mention this because I have been taught and learned several skills which have been very helpful to me with Adopt A Newbie and Light On Lights Off because of this so I feel it does contribute skills that would make me a better roleplay moderator. In mid 2011 I signed up for my first job. I was always too busy in school to get a job and taking care of my three little sisters to get a summer job, and I was never truly sure what I wanted to do in my life, but I decided to do something worthwhile. I joined the US Coast Guard. I'm often asked, I'm not sure why, maybe some question your supposed to ask everyone new you meet, 'Why did you join the Coast Guard?' My answer? Although I don't think it does the true answer justice, I can find no better way to word it, I want to help people. I think people must look at me funny when I say that, perhaps they thought I did it because someone in my family did, or because it provides good education, or maybe for the money, or maybe for a more regimented lifestyle, or maybe for a thousand other reasons. I can't say I passed boot camp with flying colors, but when I was there, and my instructors asked me that question and I gave them my answer, they looked at me, and although they would never say it out loud, I think they could see I was telling them the truth, and that was part of the reason they let me through boot camp. Of all the US military branches I'm told the Coast Guard has the most selective boot camp. There is never a time when the entire company makes it through boot camp, a lot of people get sent home, and you can't be dumb and get in. I can't say I'd want to do boot camp again, but it was a very rewarding experience, and I'll never regret joining. Sometimes I can be frustrating to people at work, but I've been told several time now that they were glad I joined, that although I'm not doing everything perfect, in fact maybe less perfect than I should, they don't want me to leave.

I will say this though, because I am in the USCG, and because I am stationed on a cutter(boat/ship/whatever you want to call it), we sometimes go out into the middle of the ocean and I can't get onto the computer for a couple days. Since its a small cutter we don't go out for too long, but they are usually overnight trips where there is no internet signal. I can sometimes get on mid-trip if we are close enough to land, but then only on my phone. I can and will give notice when I am on my trips, but I'm not allowed to disclose when they will happen, how long they will be, or how far out we are going. Secret military stuff, you know? I understand if I cannot be considered because of this. But if you need a bit more exact information on it I will be happy to comply as long as it doesn't interfere with what I'm not allowed to say.

-end excessively long form-
Thank you for considering me, and I hope you pick the best people to become roleplay moderators, no I don't hope you will, I know you will. This is a great honor and quite an exciting experience for me as this is the first time I've tried out. I managed to miss all of the others.

Edit: Went back and fixed some grammar mistakes and elaborated on a couple points a bit.

What date did you register as a CS member?: Tue Jun 15, 2010 2:11 pm
How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): 2777
How many days a week do you usually visit CS, and how many hours do you usually spend per day? For a bit there, I stopped appearing. But lately I've been on at least once a day and tend to keep a tab open/jump around and visit as well as stalking the role play forums.
Have you moderated on any other forums before? Never have.
Have you participated in many roleplays outside of CS before? Yes I have, though those role plays on other pet sites and are mostly one on ones.
Have you participated in many roleplays on CS before? Yes, I've role played here for some time and now have started a new role play group.
Why do you want to be a roleplay moderator for CS? Because I enjoy stalking the role play threads and I come across a few things here and there. So I might as well be productive while stalking instead of mostly just watching. (Though I have yet to come across some things reportable, unless the pictures of claiming them to be your character counts towards the art theft.)
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position The most skills I could possibly bring would be completely watching often. Looking through threads and watching out for things such a drama to rule breaking. I would be more of a silent watcher who would appear ever so often to correct something.

What date did you register as a CS member?:
    • Sun Mar 27, 2011 10:49 am
How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):
    • 7054
How many days a week do you usually visit CS, and how many hours do you usually spend per day?
    • I am on every day of the week. On weekdays, school days, I'm online for at least approximately four hours. I am online off and on the entire day on the weekends and holidays. The only time this is untrue is if I have a big school project I need to focus on, a family activity, or I'm someplace where I am unable to access internet. These things do not happen often.
Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them
    • No, I have not had the opportunity to do so as of yet.
Unless I misunderstand what you mean by forums of course. I have been a mod for a few roleplays on CS myself or a friend has created. I don't have the links anymore as they all died a while ago and it'd be difficult for me to find them and drag them back from the grave ^^
I am also in charge of The Dreamie Den, linked in my signature. I moderate there and give those who break my rules warnings. I have had to ask people to refrain from posting there before due to their rule breaking. Once I had to have Komi lock it for me because of how ridiculous the rule breaking/spam was getting.
That's pretty much all of the actual "official" moderating I've done before.

Have you participated in many roleplays outside of CS before? If there are any places in particular, please link to them.
    • A couple, yes. Unfortunately, it was a while ago and I can not remember what the websites were called. One was something along the lines of Red Meadow Pack. If I can find the link, I will edit it in here. I also did some Roleplaying on the online part of the WolfQuest game as well. http://wolfquest.org/
Edit; Found it <3 http://redmeadowpack.wetpaint.com/ It has been relocated since then to here http://redmeadowrp.wetpaint.com/

Have you participated in many roleplays on CS before?
    • Yes, quite a few. CS is where I really started to get into Roleplaying and improve my Roleplaying skills.
Why do you want to be a roleplay moderator for CS?
    • I want to help. Ever since I joined almost 2 years ago, I've always wanted to have some sort of position on CS where I can help out. I have not applied for any positions that have been open previously because I did not think I was ready to do so. Now, I think I have enough experience on CS to help out well. I admit, I do have a couple small warnings of Art Theft as you know. They were stupid little things that I'm honestly embarrassed to have gotten in trouble for. I am deeply sorry for all of those things. They were all little slip ups on my part for simply not ready something well enough or completely forgetting a rule. I have learned well from them and have done my absolute best to not make such mistakes since. This is also another reason I have not applied for any positions that have been open previously. I now believe that I am familiar enough with the rules of CS to be a help to the team here. I want to make sure all the rules of CS are followed and I want to help people to not make the same mistakes I have and if they do, I want to help them learn from them as I did so as not to make such mistakes in the future. I am very organized and somewhat OCD when it comes to organization. That being said, spammy and inappropriate posts tend to jump out at me and I always want to do something about them. This position would give me the opportunity to do something to help clean up CS by removing or editing or whatever it is I need to do to take care of such posts. I love to help out in any way I can and this would be a great honor for me to be able to help out by being chosen to be a CS Roleplay Moderator.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position
    • I am dedicated to what I do and have gotten rather strict as far as rules go. I am strict about rules being followed on the RPs I've ran in the past and on all the little threads I've been in charge of or a mini-mod for in the past. If someone is breaking a rule, something gets done about it. I won't just look the other way. I am fair. I won't be more or less harsh with one person than I am with another breaking a rule. I am not mean about it though. If someone is doing something that goes against the rules, I will be polite when I talk to them about it. I am very good at settling arguments. I do this almost daily it seems among people at school. I am fair and open-minded and I will hear everyone's side of the story before deciding on what should be done to resolve a situation. I don't know if these are the particular skills you're looking for, but they are qualities about me that I think might me important for a position such as this. Also, I don't know how important it is seeing as this site is mostly English based but I do know a bit of Spanish.

I thank you for the opportunity of trying out for this position. Though I do of course hope I am chosen, I understand completely if others are chosen over me as I know there are many users that are qualified for such a position. Thank you again for giving me the chance ♥

What date did you register as a CS member?: Jan. 24th 2011

How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): 3486

How many days a week do you usually visit CS, and how many hours do you usually spend per day? I am on every day of the week for a minimum of 4 hours. Most days I am on for 6.

Have you moderated on any other forums before? Yes, I have. The most prominent is Chibifurs where I am the head of coding and moderation. I am also the admin of a roleplay called Cinis Cor. The site has been going for 2 years now and I have always been it's admin. (That particular site is new, if you would like the older ones as well, please just let me know)

Have you participated in many roleplays outside of CS before? Yes, I have. I currently roleplay in 3 places. Cinis Cor, linked above. Metaphysical and Some Nights. Some time ago I was a member (and side staff member) on a site called Wonder Why. It was there that I met Hekomi (though I didn't know it at the time). It has since closed it's doors but I remain in touch with Komi as a friend offsite.

Have you participated in many roleplays on CS before? Yes, I have. Mostly in horse roleplays though as of late I have not found a strong one to interest me, though I am always looking.

Why do you want to be a roleplay moderator for CS? I feel that I would be a strong addition to your team. I enjoy the RP boards and often read along with them anyway. I have been on CS for nearly 2 years now and in that time I have grown greatly accustomed to it's rules and policies. I feel that I could execute and uphold these rules well provided the opportunity. I am greatly familiar with roleplaying and what it takes to run one and uphold one.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position? Aside from being an avid roleplayer, I have experience in peer mediation and leadership. In High School I was a member of the JROTC program (which teaches the fundamentals of leadership, teamwork and honesty) and graduated with the second highest rank in my class (Cadet Captain) as well as graduating the program with honors. I feel that these teachings along with what life has taught me, that I could be a very successful RP moderator.

Closing
I wish you luck in your search and thank you for considering me!

1.What date did you register as a CS member?: (if it's less than 6 months ago, do not apply) Wednesday, Dec 21, 2011

2.How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): (if it's less than 300, do not apply) 2855

3.How many days a week do you usually visit CS, and how many hours do you usually spend per day? I visit CS everyday and I am usually on and off in one day. Overall, I spend 3 or more hours a day on CS.

4.Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them. I am a mini-admin on this topic: viewtopic.php?f=39&t=1285706 but that's all.

5.Have you participated in many roleplays outside of CS before? If there are any places in particular, please link to them. No, I rarely go on any other site other than Youtube and CS.

6.Have you participated in many roleplays on CS before? Not many, no. However, if I were to become a Roleplay Moderator, I would spend more time around the Roleplay forums and I would also participate in more Roleplays.

7.Why do you want to be a roleplay moderator for CS? I dislike when people spam/make the roleplays inappropriate and I want to put a stop to it. It's very easy to get off topic and talk about something else in the Roleplaying forums that's supposed to go under another forum catagory. Like you have already said, Tess, people are posting inappropriate contents for their roleplays. I am old enough and mature enough (thanks to my baby brother who is absolutely inappropriate) to handle such contents, and I would delete them as soon as I get a chance to see them.

8.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you run your own roleplay website before, or have you had any experience in peer mediation?) N/A

Good luck to those who become Roleplay Moderators if I don't get the position!

What date did you register as a CS member?: September 26, 2008

How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): 2971

How many days a week do you usually visit CS, and how many hours do you usually spend per day?: Every day unless I am out of town, which is rare. And I check pretty much once an hour if I'm awake, and can honestly spend 4-6 hours per day online if I have a lot of trades/PMs.

Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them: Surreal Studios, Insincere Studios, Imagine That! Studio, and probably a few more (it's been a while!)

Have you participated in many roleplays outside of CS before? If there are any places in particular, please link to them.: beqanna.com, akosius.com (now defunct), makeshiftheart.com/adapt, valleyofshadows.co.nr (was a mod for a short time)

Have you participated in many roleplays on CS before? On CS, no. However, I ran a roleplay website for two years, and have modded on several before (noted above). I just can't find an RP that suits me!

Why do you want to be a roleplay moderator for CS? Because I love CS, and I love RPing, and writing and reading. It's perfect.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you run your own roleplay website before, or have you had any experience in peer mediation?) Yes! I ran my own RPG website before, called Akosius, about 4/5 years ago. I still have some of the board links, and maybe some screencaps if the staff are interested. I also ran a group on deviantART with more than 1,000 members for almost two years. I've also done quite a bit of peer mediation, mostly in high school as an NHS member and band section leader (flutes and clarinets just do not get along.)

I would like to note that I have gone by the name of "maat" in photomanipulation and RPG circles, so you will not find a "Rajah" there that is me. xD
Also, I -cough- am well above the 16+ age restriction.

2.How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): (if it's less than 300, do not apply)
I have currently posted 1300 posts.

3.How many days a week do you usually visit CS, and how many hours do you usually spend per day?
For the most part, I am on every day, whether it be to check the forums, my trades or such. I have CS Bookmarked on my phone which is where I often access CS except for on weekends and Vacation time since I am still a Highschool student (Senior).

4.Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them
I have never been a moderator, and I am yet to expirience what it is like. I've been co-admin to many role-play boards/chatzy role-plays that started on Horseland.

5.Have you participated in many roleplays outside of CS before? If there are any places in particular, please link to them.
Horseland.com (Before it got very... child like)
Hoof-beat (Dont remember the site address cause it was funky...)
Chatzy.com (Had a few RPing chats) - Chatzy.com

Wolf Print 4 - http://wpv4.proboards.com/
Moonlit Dreams - http://dreamsxmoon.proboards74.com/index.cgi

6.Have you participated in many roleplays on CS before?
I think thats all I did on CS was Role-play, CONSTANTLY. I never was a talker in other forums... just a lot of Role-playing :P

7.Why do you want to be a roleplay moderator for CS?
Well, I've been on CS for YEARS, almost the beginning! Its been a LONG Journey, and I've met a lot of cool people from the role-playing board! I've had plenty of expirience role-playing and I understand that their are strict rules here on CS. I admit, I unknowingly broke a few, but not many. Most were because I hadnt read the rules in a while and they changed and I hadnt had to time to look over them. Currently, I dont role-play as much because I'm having a writing block... but I am willing to help others stay on track and inform them of what is and what isnt allowed on the role-playing board! c:

8.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you run your own roleplay website before, or have you had any experience in peer mediation?)
Like I've said before, I have co-admined for a few role-playing proboards in my lifetime! I strive to help people out and would treat everyone as they deserve to be treated. I am also thoughtful of others feelings and rarely am I ever rude to anyone!

Thank you for the oppertunity! I am excited to see who becomes the new Role-play Moderators c: !!

What date did you register as a CS member?: December 23, 2011
How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): 16839
How many days a week do you usually visit CS, and how many hours do you usually spend per day? I come on everyday. I spend maybe up to three hours to six hours on CS a day. Sometimes more. Though on school days it varies.
Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them: Yes, Fallen Lights. I'm a moderator there.
Have you participated in many roleplays outside of CS before? If there are any places in particular, please link to them: Yes, Awesomesauce, and Fallen Lights
Have you participated in many roleplays on CS before? Yes. That's the main thing I do here on CS... xD Roleplaying is like my life!
Why do you want to be a roleplay moderator for CS? Because I hate seeing people who make fun of others. I also hate it when people break rules, like easy rules like "don't have any vulgar language and no inappropriate content." When people break these rules... I just want to slap them. Honestly, I also hate off topic spam [[oops... i do this...]] I mean, it's not hard to not do this, if it's off topic, don't say it. Ya know? If I were a mod, and saw any inappropriate content, I'd immeadiatly get rid of it. No hesitation there. Everyone should be smart enough to not have anything bad in their posts.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position: Well, I'm a great leader figure. With my group of friends, I was usually the one who would make everyone happier. Especially when one person would make another cry, I'd find out what was wrong, then I would help them make-up. Then we'd all be friends again. Other than that, I think I can help people out with their problems. Usually, at least. Also, I speak French and Spanish fluently.

I wish you luck in your search for mods. Good luck everyone.

Oh, and I may have put an inaccurate age, I do this because my parents make me do so. I am older than the age limit.

What date did you register as a CS member?:
March 16, 2010
How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):
8, 451 posts
How many days a week do you usually visit CS, and how many hours do you usually spend per day?
I visit CS as least 5 days a week & I usually spend around 3-4 hours on CS each day, depending on how busy my day has been.
Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them
I have, but all were either moderated by me a very long time ago or are dead.
Have you participated in many roleplays outside of CS before? If there are any places in particular, please link to them.
I have roleplayed in a few different places here and there but not in a while.
Have you participated in many roleplays on CS before?
Yes. Absolutely. Roleplaying is actually the number one reason for my getting online anymore. I have partcipated in countless roleplays of countless types.
Why do you want to be a roleplay moderator for CS?
As I said before, roleplaying is solely my reason for getting online anymore. I have literally partcipated in at least 50 roleplays and I still join new ones as well. Of all the forums, I browse the Roleplaying ones the most. I literally check them everyday for new and interesting roleplays that I might want to join. I'd love to have this job because I myself have come across some innapropriate and/or illegal roleplays that really should not be seen by younger children, or anyone at all really. It would be a lot easier for me to just be able to remove the problems myself so that so many people do not have to see them. My being a moderator would give me even more of a reason to get online as well.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position:
I have had two roleplay websites before. One was actually very successful, the other not at all. The more successful one was created a long time ago and is dead now, though. I am also fluent in Spanish, which may or may not be helpful.

(I hope this is alright. I'll edit anything else I think of in later.)
