Out of the corner of Tristan's blurry eyes, he caught sight of Nick tumbling to the ground, and he rushed over to his younger brother. Wiping away his tears with one hand, he shook Nick's shoulder with the other. "Nick, can you hear me? Nick?" The scene only moments before replayed, but this time he was calling the third prince's name. Checking his brother's pulse, Tristan was more than relieved to find that he was just unconscious. As he continued to shake Nick, he felt something warm and sticky soaking into his sleeve. Reaching over Aiden's body, the prince retrieved the faint lantern and brought it close to Nick's arm. He had been cut deeply, the wound oozing with blood. Cursing, Tristan used his sword and tore a long strip of his cloak. He wrapped it tightly around his brother's arm, the blood soaking it too quickly. Shivering in the cold, the prince slapped his cheek, attempting to revive Nick. It didn't work. "Come on.." he whispered in a frustrated tone. Nick couldn't die. He was the prince with the prophecy. He was the one that was special, the one that had to live past 18. Grunting, Tristan pulled his brother up, leaning his against a tree. He tried not to let his brother crumple back to the ground, but it was hard. In another mood, he would have found the scene funny. But now wasn't the time for laughing. Wiping his raw cheeks, the prince took the lantern and held it against Nick's forehead. Hopefully it would wake him. Somehow.

Black...dark... It was black and dark, without a single flame of light anywhere... as if, as if Nick was trapped in a never ending abyss. Nick looked around, there was blackness in front of him, blackness behind him. It was eerily silent, only Nick's breathing could be heard throughout the whole black hole. Nick took a step forward and wobbled, he closed his eyes and yelled in frustration before falling to the ground. Why am I here? When am I? Am I... am I dead? Nick opened his eyes and stared at the ground to see his own face staring back at him. The ground was made out of glass and there was a faint red light behind the glass, lighting up the darkness. Light! Light! If only I can reach it... Nick started punching the glass to reach the light, it would be the only way out of this dark place. The glass cracked under his knuckles before falling away and creating a hole. Nick tumbled into it and towards the light.

Nick could feel something warm touching his forehead. His arm hurt painfully and there seemed to be something wound around it. His vision was filled with the colour red as if there was light in front of his closed eyelids. Nick's eyes fluttered open and he could see a concerned looking Tristan holding a light above him. The lantern was the object giving warmth. Nick smiled, some colour returning to his pale face, and then croaked, "What happened?" He turned his head and saw Aiden's body slumped a few feet away. His smile disappeared and just stared. Aiden was well and truly dead and there was nothing any of them could do to revive him.

Arabella took the dress from Crystal and quickly changed from the elaborate gold dress, into the simpler, more comfortable dress that Crystal had offered. "It's a good thing we're a similar size!" she said with a laugh as she did up the back of the dress. She pulled her gold earrings from her ears and let her hair hang loosely at her back. "Do I look normal enough to not be mistaken for a princess?" she asked spinning in front of her friend so she could get the full effect.

Crystal/ Maid/ Elaydon

Crystal swirled in her dress and braided a part of her hair and put on gypsy accessories. "Isn't it?" she laughed, she handed some ypsy jewelery to Arabella "It will help you blend in, and for tonight your name with be Peach okay?, Everyone knows Princess ARABELLA" she added tieing a red and purple sash around her waist. She looked in her mirror and did her- hair nicely, then she looked at Arabella and did a pose "What do you think?".

"Peach of Elyadon," Arabella said aloud fastening the jewelry around her neck and through the holes in her ears. Excitement was taking hold in her mind and heart, she was beginning to realize that this was an adventure. "I think you look just as wonderful as you did in your blue dress. This is going to be such fun!"

Crystal smiled and slipped her shoes on and helped fix some jewelery Arabella had on "Perfect Peach, now shall we go and have a rockin' time!?!". Crystal felt like bursting with excitment, tonight was going to be awesome! and she was going to make sure of it. She nodded "Why thank you" she said opening the door "Got that right! lets party!" she said, grabbing two black cloaks, she tossed one to Arabella and oneon herself then rushed out the door.

Arabella draped the cloak over her shoulders and pulled the hood up so it framed her pale face. She was excited now, but still worries crept into the back of her mind. What if we're spotted? She thought to herself as she began to wind down to the stables. She turned to Crystal. "Never mind the coach," she said. "We can ride Moonlady and Abelaide, and you can lead the way. It'll be less noticeable that way."

Your arm." he murmured, too tired to say anything else. He leaned back against the tree next to his brother. Closing his eyes in weariness, the prince took a deep breath. Nick was going to be okay, but Aiden was gone. He opened his eyes slowly, not wanting to return to reality yet, and knelt next to Aiden's body. "This life has now passed away, He is with the Lord today, enjoying a better life anew, their memory shall we carry through, until we again rendezvous." he whispered, leaning inches above his eldest brother's face. Gently pressing his fingers against Aiden's eyelids, he closed them, covering the now hazy blue eyes forever. Blinking hard, Tristan rose and turned to Nick. "He was stabbed through his chest, probably punctured a lung." He kept his eyes low, not willing to let the tears flow once more. "Do you think you'll be able to ride back? We need to hold a conference with both kingdoms. Tonight."

Tyler sighed softly as he stood still on the balcony, watching what was going on in the garden. He watched the royals of Elyadon leave one by one, not quite figuring out what was going on. But it wasn't any of his business after all. The knight turned around and headed back into the ballroom, to see if anything interesting was happening here.

KC descended the dusty stone steps and made his way back into the ballroom. Although not as full, there were still many crowds milling about, most of whom were women trying to catch his attention. With no luck. The prince ignored them all, not wanting to speak with someone who gave out unnecessary flattery. He wanted to find someone who didn't know his status, rank, who he was. Making his way towards the balcony, he stopped to grab a flute of wine off a servant's platter and turned, bumping into a man. "Sorry, sir." he muttered, taking a quick glance at his face. The prince took a sip of wine and gestured at the man. "I am Lord.. Samton," he lied, "And you are?" he asked, leading the man towards an alcove.

Crystal was already on Serean, a brown and white Gypsy Vanner, holding the reins. "Okay, since Abelaide is a royal horse your gonna have to ride Charcoal the black and white Gypsy Vanner you'll bland in and since she's saddled up" she said taking the horses out of the stables. Crystal let her long hair swish at her feet, while Serean waited patiently to leave. Chestnut looked like she was gonna jump with joyto be taken out.
